the sub does not acctually "wave", the camera just cant capture every frame, it only can capture so many frames at a time so the sub appears to almost wave because the camera is slow

Pretty sure you're wrong, it has to do with the crossing of two things:

1) The speed (frames per second) at which the camera records.

2) The frequency the sub is playing at.

Not sure if you noticed, but magnetic fields are not visible, even in camera. I highly doubt a little volfenhag can create that large of a magnetic field in any case.

i have 3 of the same 12,s on a jl 500/ and i cant go pass 15 volume the presure is off the chain people always said stupid shit, but when they heard me i shut em down. i stumped people with jl w3-7 my amp is half my bass is -14 my boost is +1 so i love my set up. when i finish it up (neatness) i will post a video

uh i take my comment back, i was running my 2 15 volfs for like 45 min with the gain half way and the db boost was down and one of the bitches smoked out and i wasnt even bumpin it hard. it was loud as fuck but you could always smell the voice coils and i wasnt even close to feeding them what they say they can handle. they work very well just not for long!!

yes the 12's and 15's of this model look exactly the same except for the 3 inch size difference of course. And the volfenhags were not bad especially for my first system but I have upgraded since and now my car is much louder.

well i can say i had the shitty rockford fosgate 15 inch p1s and they cost 30 dollars more per sub and they cant even come close to competing with volfenhag 15s and the cone on the volfs are bullet proof compared to all 4 sets of rockford subs iv owned. so price doesnt always mean its better. you are paying more for rockfords advertisement than the cheap sub it makes. im just talking about the p series subs. im sure all cones can flex but i sure dont see any on the volfs.

When people say rms.. they obviously mean watts rms which is the continous power that a subwoofer will handle. Supposedly those will handle 500 continously. I think those subs are overrated power wise. If you give them a true 500 rms they will bottom out and sound like garbage real quick, which is why I got new subs that can handle some serious power. Still if you have some volfenhags and give them a little less power then they ask for, they will bump.

alright sorry for bashing on you, but the rms is the root mean square which is where the subwoofers sound the best which in this case is 500. ive put mine up to a pair of very high end JL audio subs and tied up with them, and mine are at 500w , those are 1000watts max, which is the amount they can handle continuously, if you have them at 500 rms they will sound Perfect. if you roll them at 1000w they still wont bottom out, but hey thats just facts,

RMS can be anything. Voltage. Current. Wattage. whatever. its an effective power rating of a maximim output. The speaker can take 600 watts, but the RMS is NOT 500. The formula is 600 x .707(value of RMS) and you get 424watts or the average(which is not the same)at .637. RMS is NOT "THE POINT AT WHICH THE WAVES DO NOT CLIP" RMS is not a unit of measure. its a modification/exception to a unit of measure.
