love this song. we sang this as a choir song in my catholic school while my mom was dying from chemotherapy. she was staff 4-there was not a big chance of her leaving. but god was there and she is now still with me hopefully for a longer time. This song will forever remind me of His mercy. :)

This nation - the United Kingdom - is quite accurately labelled post-Christian in many ways, until the church gets a wake up call and starts ministering and serving in new relevant God-gifted ways to the people. such a beautiful song.. when i was saved , and listening to a christian radio station and i just broke down and bawled like a baby in front of my two yr old and little baby, we had left their daddy for verbal and mental abuse ..it was just a hostile place .. anyhow i cradled her(2yr/old) and explained the best i could to her about gods love and how much she is loved .. it was so beautiful...but to this day...she gets this real cute look on her face of understanding when it comes over to hug me.
She has an amazing voice, but this song.... it has a good message but it's a little too simple and boring... better then the wretched 'what love really means' which once again has a good message but a terrible flow to the music and lyrics.

really, really like the instrumentals and sound of the melody and harmonies. I love the Americana, folk sound that's here. I'm sad that the lyrics aren't ones that I relate to nor aspire to relate to, as I would personally enjoy the music more if it weren't revolving around religious themes. However, I'm sure it's very meaningful to those who appreciate this and I wouldn't ask that it be changed. Beautiful music all the same, wonderful job.

JJ and her husband came and did a concert at my church, and my youth group got to hang out and eat pizza with them afterwards. They are just great people, they are hilarious and their words and songs have power. I was expecting an average live performance where the record sounds better but she is blessed with an increadible voice. One of the few live performances where her voice is so much better live

I cry when i hear this song because when i went to go visit my grandmother in West Virginia for 4th of July she died when i was at a 4th of July party. Now every 4th of July we go visit her grave stone at the cemetery. and this song reminds me of how she always used to care for me and help me through all the pain i would go through in life.;)
I suffer from chronic stomach pain due to a syndrome called dysmotility. I've felt pain from the instant I wake up until the moment I fall asleep for almost a year and a half. I can't go to school and most days I can only sit, but I will never lose my faith. I just wish anyone who's suffering would know, running from God means running from the most powerful healer we have. He walks with me everyday and comforts me every moment. Please don't turn from God, He does hate to see you cry.

such a beautiful song.. when i was saved , and listening to a christian radio station and i just broke down and bawled like a baby in front of my two yr old and little baby, we had left their daddy for verbal and mental abuse ..it was just a hostile place .. anyhow i cradled her(2yr/old) and explained the best i could to her about gods love and how much she is loved .. it was so beautiful...but to this day...she gets this real cute look on her face of understanding when it comes over to hug me.

She has an amazing voice, but this song.... it has a good message but it's a little too simple and boring... better then the wretched 'what love really means' which once again has a good message but a terrible flow to the music and lyrics.

@Justwhoyouare I bitterly disagree with you I think this is by far her best song, I remember the first time I heard this I was going through alot of problems and was very depressed crying in my room and I heard this song coming from my mom's room on the christian station, and just stopped to listen cause it provided me with so much comfort that night.

really, really like the instrumentals and sound of the melody and harmonies. I love the Americana, folk sound that's here. I'm sad that the lyrics aren't ones that I relate to nor aspire to relate to, as I would personally enjoy the music more if it weren't revolving around religious themes. However, I'm sure it's very meaningful to those who appreciate this and I wouldn't ask that it be changed. Beautiful music all the same, wonderful job.

JJ and her husband came and did a concert at my church, and my youth group got to hang out and eat pizza with them afterwards. They are just great people, they are hilarious and their words and songs have power. I was expecting an average live performance where the record sounds better but she is blessed with an increadible voice. One of the few live performances where her voice is so much better live

My friend's mom just died of brain cancer. I made her a couple pictures and an audio CD for her. On that picture it had the lyrics to this song int he shape of a ribbon with across and words that said "He <3's U" I feel so sorry for her becuase she is so young and she has to experience this now...

I cry when i hear this song because when i went to go visit my grandmother in West Virginia for 4th of July she died when i was at a 4th of July party. Now every 4th of July we go visit her grave stone at the cemetery. and this song reminds me of how she always used to care for me and help me through all the pain i would go through in life.;)

I suffer from chronic stomach pain due to a syndrome called dysmotility. I've felt pain from the instant I wake up until the moment I fall asleep for almost a year and a half. I can't go to school and most days I can only sit, but I will never lose my faith. I just wish anyone who's suffering would know, running from God means running from the most powerful healer we have. He walks with me everyday and comforts me every moment. Please don't turn from God, He does hate to see you cry.
