For those who think this is for organ transplants: Beheading is the worst thing for any organ transplant, Blade will be contaminated with bacteria and other people's blood, some of which will enter the bloodstream. This would make any organ transplant from the victim a possible death sentence - especially if MRSA is present.

Beheading almost certainly destroys organ harvesting. Heart continues pumping after beheading for a short time. Blood which isn't pumped out starts to clot seconds after it stops moving. This is why a fast hearbeat (super-ventricular tachycardia) disorder carries a high risk of stroke if not slowed down - heart does not fully empty with each beat, and blood which stays in the heart can clot. Lethal Injection or bullet would be used instead. Blood is well known in the medical world as a biohazard, and endangering lives of the troops or leaders with diseases makes no sense.
