Not the best plot pretty mindless violence, but the main character is a fucking genius... I did not really see that exactly coming, which is why I say SEE IT!!!! Starts boring gets to the action violence than you start to realize it's not that bad. 6.5/10 for me, only because the end basically made my day
Somehow, I found the movie extremely watchable. Sure the beggining is boring as hell, but I love the way the guy just snaps. (Spoilers) I particularly love the part with the room full of women where he leaves them for a few seconds, comes back saying to himself, "What am I doing?" Then kills them all.
the best part or effect was the close up to his eyes under the mask, as he shoots you hear it muffled, like maybe how he heard it under his mask, and you hear heavy breathing along with the musical compliment... thats the best part, as opposed to the TOO MUCH INFORMATION killing, which we've all seen many times (MINUS THE BARBER SHOP!)... and the contrast of the B. Shop to the BINGO HALL was just hilarious, what a switch! hard to hear his line upon leaving: "You don't need my help."

the best part or effect was the close up to his eyes under the mask, as he shoots you hear it muffled, like maybe how he heard it under his mask, and you hear heavy breathing along with the musical compliment... thats the best part, as opposed to the TOO MUCH INFORMATION killing, which we've all seen many times (MINUS THE BARBER SHOP!)... and the contrast of the B. Shop to the BINGO HALL was just hilarious, what a switch! hard to hear his line upon leaving: "You don't need my help."

@Rawr5649 Its fine if you didn't like the movie but if you really believe it has no meaning than I have to say you either aren't very good at analyzing or you weren't paying enough attention to what was actually being said. Truly if you don't think there was any meaning in the dialogue then you probably weren't really thinking about it and were just watching it for the killing as you accused poptards70 of.

@coolpuff Soylent Green is still the eco-classic prophet film, this is another far more brutal take on what we are becoming. there will be FAR MORE WAR - for water, oil, land, religion, politics and even crass consumerism (that birth right we americans feel we deserve... what he did, his rampage, is akin to "The death of one man is a tragedy, the death of millions is a statistic." in that we view war as less vulgar as created by masses as compared to one man declaring war and carrying it out

This movie. Is just plain out amazing. It has so much meaning. Although im not sure why he killed the girl at the chicken place. It seemed like he liked her or they related.

@poptards70 it was part of the set up to have his friend, or i should say "friend", busted for what he did... but maybe it was also part of the revenge he got like with the coffee dick, he had his personal spots as to the mass killing, it was not all random... this was true of ERIC HARRIS AND DYLAN KLEBOLD... much of it was random, but they also wanted to kill some jocks, bullies and thus our anti-bully thing ever since, along with ZERO TOLERANCE FOR VIOLENCE PC fear mongering since COLUMBINE

And on topic, I enjoyed this film. It was brutally cathartic and that, but it was also quite well directed, very well acted and interesting enough to keep me watching the whole way through, which is more than I can say for any previous Uwe Boll film. He's come into his own, gone from the next Ed Wood to the next Roger Corman. Which is something I can get behind.

@Rawr5649 and the greater absurdity is to do nothing and allowing the far greater death and suffering to occur because WE VALUE LIFE and certainly can't THIN THE HERD from time to time, which they do in parts of colorado where i've lived... they kill off many elk or deer sometimes to keep the remaining herd alive, otherwise there is not enough to go around... its pure logistics and wild life management skills that keep the animals alive in parts of colorado during bad weather and drought...

DAMN! this type of body armor should be used in the military! imagine our troops! :D they would be unstopable, but ofcourse a few modifications should ba made cuz of the intence heat in iraq and afganistan, and the metal plate should be of a harder metal 2 stop ak-47 bullets. over all that armor is AWESOME!
