The DaVinci "skin" that you see on the egg is also what Bungie uses to test everything. They take everything they make and put it in a DaVinci room, which is completely covered with the DaVinci look, where they test the lighting, particles, and many more things. I can't say exactly why the eggs are there. Perhaps Bungie put them there for a reason, or there is one on every map.
Its no just the multiplayer maps, its on campaign too. Last level. and Cortana. These eggs are extraodinary things that Bungie made and im pretty sure they have to do with the secret switch and trigates of halo 2.

i just figured it out in 30 seconds lol, basicaly the minefeild is its own area, and basicaly the scripts kinda say, e.g player 1 enters Area "minefeild" activate mines, but this would mean mines would be jumping out all over that area. but that laser thing it triggers the mines as you said but the laser is designed to folow the players and when they step out into that area they start too activate the mines. Well thats what i think anyways
@Generalkidd when me and my brother first bought sandbox from xbl marketplace we were forging and noticed a red light like a sparten laser but more faded away can you investigate on why that happened cause to this day we still dont know what we did to trigger it...

they dont shoot sentinel beams at the mines. the laser are just that strong! when u throw a bubble shield: they shoot AT YOU, wen u fly a banshee they shoot AT YOU
@stanjamv1 only the look of the bullets... the shade turrets in the game can be destroyed by hitting them with vehicles, they also have a user (normally a grunt) so there not shade turrets.

I know someone who used to work at bungie. These are the guardians and they are on EVERY map. If someone dies and it says they were killed by guardians, it does something weird.
omg i know how to get the sentinel beam on sandtrap the same damage you get a turretless vehicle and go out into the mines and sometimes you here an almost silent samshing and a lazer fires at u but not from the towers but from the eggs that r far away in the middle of the map (only happens 1 in 100 times)
The eggs are the kill code or the things that make the mines fire yes they are....And they help this map(sandtrap) run smoother cuz the Elephants are alot of memory and they cause lots of lag without the eggs....
That explains how people make sandbox maps where you can go out in the desert, that must be where that deafening and annoying sound comes from, they must have covered up the easter eggs, blocking the sentinal beams, making a racket.
@bluffjumper I meant, how do you spawn a teleporter outside of the map? I tried to and the invisible wall blocks me from putting one out there. I can spawn walls and other things outside of the map in the sky bubble like on ths video, but I can't spawn a teleporter. Anyone know how to do that?

Ok i can easily bring an end to all this, If you've seen them close up enough to read whats on the egg, you have a bit of texturing and stuff knowlage you will relise, those are indeed the gaurdian modules, why they look all wierd is very simple, you just need to see it closely, Bungie did not intend those to have a texture/mesh or whatever, so things that do not have a mesh have a defult mesh, like in Gmod things without meshs say ERROR, That is the mesh that dignifies it has no special mesh...

Yeah, it's extremely obviously that your friend's older brother DOES NOT work for Bungie. First of all, we already know the exact functions of the eggs. And thanks to some modders, we know 3 maps have these eggs. The eggs are meant to be some kind of active object on each map. In the case of Sandtrap & Sandbox, they are meant to be the guardians. In the case of the map Heretic, they are meant to be grav lifts.
There are gaurdians in every level i think they just don't shoot you. I used the turret trick to get out of maps, I just walk away, plop dead and it say: killed by the Gaurdians.
I'm going to assume you're talking about the map Sandtrap because if you're talking about Sandbox, then you're an idiot who obviously doesn't have the maps. Ok, so first of all, you can't get to the towers on Sandtrap, there's a death barrier that can't be removed. There's no such thing as a small spartan laser. Also, spartan laser's are red not yellow. I doubt you even have Halo 3.
an easier way to test is to have someone try to out rund the gaurdians while one person in edit mode hovers you next to the egg and if the egg fires beams(I SAID IF I DON'T THINK SO EITHER) the "generalkid" is ok. if hes not...... dramatic pause for suspense(in creepy voice) THEN WHO CARES??? MUWHUHAWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Having people guide you in a video was already done a very long time ago back in Halo 1 before Cmneir even got started. So by your logic, everything Cmneir has done was copied off of everyone else that came before him. In case you haven't noticed, Cmneir wasn't the one who started halo videos.

I know someone who used to work at bungie. These are the guardians and they are on EVERY map. If someone dies and it says they were killed by guardians, it does something weird.

The eggs are the kill code or the things that make the mines fire yes they are....And they help this map(sandtrap) run smoother cuz the Elephants are alot of memory and they cause lots of lag without the eggs....

Ok i can easily bring an end to all this, If you've seen them close up enough to read whats on the egg, you have a bit of texturing and stuff knowlage you will relise, those are indeed the gaurdian modules, why they look all wierd is very simple, you just need to see it closely, Bungie did not intend those to have a texture/mesh or whatever, so things that do not have a mesh have a defult mesh, like in Gmod things without meshs say ERROR, That is the mesh that dignifies it has no special mesh...

Yeah, it's extremely obviously that your friend's older brother DOES NOT work for Bungie. First of all, we already know the exact functions of the eggs. And thanks to some modders, we know 3 maps have these eggs. The eggs are meant to be some kind of active object on each map. In the case of Sandtrap & Sandbox, they are meant to be the guardians. In the case of the map Heretic, they are meant to be grav lifts.

I'm going to assume you're talking about the map Sandtrap because if you're talking about Sandbox, then you're an idiot who obviously doesn't have the maps. Ok, so first of all, you can't get to the towers on Sandtrap, there's a death barrier that can't be removed. There's no such thing as a small spartan laser. Also, spartan laser's are red not yellow. I doubt you even have Halo 3.

an easier way to test is to have someone try to out rund the gaurdians while one person in edit mode hovers you next to the egg and if the egg fires beams(I SAID IF I DON'T THINK SO EITHER) the "generalkid" is ok. if hes not...... dramatic pause for suspense(in creepy voice) THEN WHO CARES???
