  • hey i just got a KSB and i was wondering if i should have a heat lamp and a heat mat the bulb i have is a 100 watt bulb will that do it for him just wondering thankyou

  • @ReptileStewart32 you only need one or the other. But what matters is the temperature. You need to get the correct temperature with one or the other.

  • @earthling1984 thank you!

  • @ReptileStewart32 get a thermometer and check the temperature of the hot spot. Use whatever you need to achieve the proper temperature.

  • @earthling1984 if using a heatpad, measure the temperature in the sand(or other substrate), if using a heatpad, surface sand temperature can be measured.

  • i have had some bad experiences with lll reptile i have not completly turned away from them, but am considering trying them one more time.did yu find any problems with your new animals?

  • @FORGOTTEN760 everything I've ordered from them has come in healthy and have lived well since I got them. Only one mistake from them when they mislabeled one of the snakes as a male when it was a female. Other than that, they have been pretty good.

  • which ones don't grow big

  • @helloperson77 kenyans stay a bit smaller than indian smooth scales. Both stay fairly small though, under 4 feet usually.

  • @Myselfwannabe89 i think u are talkin about the bird he has.

  • Dude, Grabbing them n shittt.. FUCK THAT

  • what is that sound.

  • the r really good looking snakes.but how do u get the labling wrong lol.

  • I have a bearded dragon and wanted a snake when my beardie passes (She may be old) tthis will be the kind of snake I get. I used to have a red corn snake when I was 14 and Never could get a Boa.(I like fat snakes that don't get too big)

  • they look like worms.

  • They look as if they're made of rubber

  • @moonwatcher2177 how do all the animals get to the pet store? they are perfectly safe. they are shipped usually less then 13 hours. and they sleep the whole way

  • big sausage... little sausage xD

  • @munkeman95 hmm 65$ for both

  • I don't like ksbs , I'm selling 2 tho lol

  • @xISiLLeNTIx really how much

  • ksb"s are sexed right, I would never put snakes int my collection from LLL reptile with out quarantine. a lot of there stuff is wild caught.

  • u turned the light of but wen u turned bk it was on. weird

  • Comment removed

  • Females have ah shorter tail

  • I love Kenyan Sand Boas they are gorgeous... I have 3 of them

  • ok we get they r miss labeled!

    but still great snakes

  • kenyan sand boas are so much prettier than indian sand boas :)

  • @joenev9 but indians are worth more, and their babies are very pretty until their stripes go away

  • can i put a male and a female sand boa in a 20 gallon long?

  • @AnimalLunatic probably, but larger would be better.

  • thank you very much

  • i am at a loss I am going to get a female kenyan sand boa and I would very much appreciate it if you could tell me if a 36 in long by 18 in high by 24 in wide cage would be large enough for her. I love your video and your snakes, Especially the male sand boa, are beautiful

  • @TheBeardedDragon15 that should be fine for a single kenyan.

  • Are kenyan sand boas good pets, and if so what are there care needs?

  • @thenumber1bleachfan I have a kenyan sand boa car video, check it out. and yes, they make great pets and are easy to care for.

  • were u buy your snakes?>

  • @jobo104 pet shops, animal expos, and online

  • why didnt you sex them the female has one spur and males have two spurs

  • @william7104 bull crap all my sand boaas male or female have 2 spurs

  • where did you get them from

  • i think they are both misslabeled

  • and how much wre thy all?

  • wher did you get tham from?

  • your ISB' and KSB' are awesome :)

  • what kind of bird do you have?

  • u should invest in a tripod

  • awsome vid and kenyan sand boas im think im gunna try to get one but would a 20 gallon long be good for a female and were u get them from??

  • @xXM0nst3rXx1 a 20gal should be large enough for one.

  • you should get more sand boas

  • the male looks like a snake for the female XD

  • Dude how r ur turtles

  • @Spiderknight09 there doing good... cept the texas map(RIP). I have a video(uploaded like 3 days ago) updating my turtles and my home pet room.

  • kenyans kick ass

  • those poor snakes. being packaged like that,

  • @fraydough they like dark places so im sure they were fine with it.

  • always be careful when handling snakes. even if they're harmless they'll still bite when uncomfortable or scared.

  • @mothrabattra agreed

  • i am looking for a small skinny snake like to 1st male how much was he ?

  • @iiQU34RN3Yii kenyah sand boas grow to about 3 to 5 feet and cost usually $40 to $70 as young snakes.

  • hey how much did you pay for one of the kenyan sand boa?

  • @jkhb56 i got my kenyans at different places. Some were $30 a piece, one was up to $80. In that price range is what young kenyans should cost. $80 is actually a bit high for a kenyan, but that is about a price you will see like in a pet shop, online or at reptile show will be more like $25 to $50.

  • the first ones u took out look like earthworms cool snakes man

  • @axelara15 thanks

  • don't your snakes will fight and each other if you put them together??

  • @rararahahaful my sand boas do not fight, i keep them together.

  • Are the ISA adult?

  • @HOLLISKID23 yeah.

  • Are Sand Boas Nice?

  • @Theherpco any snake(and any animal) can be nice, or mean, depending on how they were raised. Most of the time, sand boas are very calm. Mine are easily handled.

  • :-)wow! nice but if your old to take care of your pets you need to releas them to the wild for a new life

  • i never know what end is the head

  • the male, might be a rufescens, or how ever you spell it look it up,

  • nice i subed ! : D

  • i like reptmart more than lllreptiles, but those are nice snakes.

  • im think gonna buy a sand boa wich think is the best looking of them

  • i had a kenyan sand boa but it died because it wouldnt eat i tried frozen and live pinkies.

  • lllreptile has the best deals

  • different boas

  • ISB's r ugly in my opnion but they seem like good pets

  • @XcXdualchamp50 I agree, as adults they don't have very pretty patterns or anything, but their babies are striped and more colorful. They look nice as young snakes, but lose their cool patters as they age.

  • lol the first time your bird chirped i had to yell at my bird... Thought it was him

  • @skinnywhop87 lol, whenever I play a video with my birds chirping in it, they start going crazy and chirp a lot too ;p It sets off a chain reaction and I can't shut them up for a few minutes!

  • hey can u take a look at my ksb video and can u try to loook to c wut sex it is. i will make a better video soon.

also, u should crossbreeed the two species and u can sell the babies for about 200

  • I think you're snakes is going to escape it's cage and eat your bird

just joking lol just playing with maybe one day the snake it get hungry I don't know

    lol they don't eat bird

  • earthling1984 I wanted to ask you at LLL reptiles do you get to choose what gender your animal is because I am planing to buy a kenyan sand boa but I want a male because they are smaller.

  • @dopson21 they can usually pick for you, depending if the species is able to be sexed.

  • very nice ive got a snow

  • Nice additions however, quaratine may have been a prudent measure on your part. Best of luck with them.

  • agreed, quarantine is always a good idea.

  • are the new kenyans babys

    or juves subs or adults?

  • what website did you get them from

  • pet stores ;p

  • omg how the heck did that light turn back on?

  • you have a bird?!

and lol....they look like huge earthworms.

    are they poisonous?

  • no their not poisonous, but lots of fun :)

  • how are boas poisionus? there constrictors same with pythons

  • Just an FYI - it is super, super rare that we mislabel snakes. Females are not bigger until they are "full grown", which yours is not yet :) You can certainly double check by having a pro probe them, but they are double checked before we bag em and mark them! Enjoy the new snakes, and call with any questions you ever have

    LLLReptile

  • Yes. With my order I had a few problems. Pre-Order phone conversations stated the larger was the female and the smaller was male. Upon delivery, they were marked the other way. I decided this mis-matched info warranted sex test or two for these snakes. After sexing multiple 2 times, the larger one(marked as male) was said to be female. Both reptile experts probed the large one and declared it female. I do like LLLreptile, and even with this mistake, I still order from your site/store.

  • are they fully grown

  • How many animals do you have

  • a lot.

  • idk im think about getting a snake but idk which 1s would bit more often or which 1s are good for a starting snake

  • well, for a starter snake, I would recommend a nocturnal snake. Nocturnal snakes usually require no UVB lighting. Also, for a starter snake, get one that requires no added humidity. Many snakes require humidity and misting multiple times a day, and they will die without it. The kenyan sand boas are wonderful starter snakes as they are super easy to care for, however, they do hide often so you won't see them moving around their cage as much as some other snakes.

  • thnx!

  • Awesome new snakes! That female smooth scale is huge lol

  • i havent seen a ksb in 3 years maybe i just realized how aero dynamic they. Curious would you ever fill up a tank half way up with sand lol or would that cause breathing problems?

  • They would probably be smart enough to know how deep they are and know how to breathe, however, that would cost more, and also the heatpad under the tank would only heat the bottom few inches, so they would have to stay very deep, which would also cause them to be very hard to pick out for feeding time.

  • yah my soft shell and musk turtles are little piggies but the missippi map not so much the other day he ate about 4 minnows so dont know if he is still full...lol...but I put pellets worms and large meal worms so we will see he is 3 inches so he is past the hatchling size...

  • lol im still working on a name for my map turtle...quick question I see the vid of your turltes eating but do they go sometimes without my missippi map eats sometimes then does'nt

  • Mine all seem to be pigs and eat every time I throw in food. I have heard that sometimes turtles don't eat though, and that you shouldn't worry unless it lasts over a week.

  • Nice snakes!!!! Its so exciting when they first arrive hope they will always stay that friendly any names yet?

  • Thanks! No names yet. I need to work on that!
