  • Off the hook, they even let the DJ get on that's hiphop.....

  • Flashback: pay phones in the dorm hall!!

  • i cant beleive how far back underground goes .. this era of music is dope but you cant ever beat classic shit like this... respect

  • This video made me go to College!

  • I'm glad I came up in the best stuff..I mean this was hip hop at one of it's rawist..still experimental..and yet seasoned to perfection..almost like having child and watch them become into an adult..now that's a metaphor..that some artist dnt get..cuz its " rain" on the brain.

  • The beat is bananas!!!!!!!!!

  • Shaw U!!!!

  • @OKWHOIZTHAT The 90's were great years man but the 80's were sick also bruv , i do agree though the 90's was a great time for Hip Hop for real!! it's a shame how the quality of the rhymes has dropped dramactically over the last 10 year or so, Don't get me wrong there's still alot of M.C's out there who we don't get to see and here on T.V or the radio respectively. The industry just look for a certain mould of people who fit the bill and have fucked up massive parts of the game!!!

  • Man i love this shit right here true classic, i miss the 90's

  • man people used to REALLY FOCUS on their lyrics

  • @erickliddell yo...fo real bruhtha.... its dre....

  • DJ Lord Jazz is always on pointtt

  • Ils étaient en concert chez moi à Toulouse...

Comme je regrette de ne pas y avoir été : plus je découvre de leurs morceaux, plus j'en ai mal au coeur d'avoir raté ça !

  • HBCUs represent

  • I'm a huge fan on the 90's hiphop, but hiphop nowadays is much better produced, it's way more than "loops" and nowadays hiphop is a world. Hiphop in the early 90's was basically the same.

  • @polymerizedrecords LOL. U got some research to do. Hip Hop has regressed greatly since the golden era of the late 80s early 90s

  • @polymerizedrecords I agree completly, I love 90's rap and I love modern rap each has it's own strong points and it all depends what you feel like. For exsample 90's rap is very loopy and sounds kind of hollow wich is great if your in the mood to play some basketball today's music the beats have alot more work put into them and is great to just chill too

  • this was das efx diss wasnt it?? Did das efx ever make a come back?

  • I'm not stuck in the 90's. I know things must change, but still appreciate and will always love that era for hip hop. Originality was key and the radio wasn't afraid to give original acts a chance.

  • In toulouse on the 27th of June YYYYYYEEEAAAAAHHHHH !

Wasn't round in the 90" but I'll definitely be there on the 27th !

  • all my hip hop heads!!!

  • the music now doesn't even come close to this. i feel sorry for the young kids who worship the crap out today. Sorry lil wayne couldnt hold the microphone for the Lords of The Underground nevertheless Rakim, or KRS1.

  • @chris55404 i know wut they play constantly in the radio is all dance sex night clubs type of music

  • Damn i miss this!!

  • Awww man, I was like 14 or 15 when this joint was out...miss those days....

  • I was straight born in 91, a great year of funky hip hop, I listened to the local rap station here in Denver and i remember in like 96 some like De La Soul, Tupac, and Biggie, Black Star, Naughty by Nature and the other few good emcees that were able to stay on the radio, but damn I straight missed the Underground like L.O.T.U.G., K.M.D, the Artifacts, Das EFX, c'mon man take it back to the old school, all i can say is thank god music lives on!!!!!

  • @Shaniggins303 yea i was born in 91 too....but i was too young to listen to music seriously...i didnt start listenen to music until about 1998-99...

  • Dear 90's hip hop, you were so good to me. Why did you have to go away?

  • yo hip hop , com word up.

  • This was a MUST purchase back in 1993. I was bumping this album, Ice Cube Lethal Injection, Nas Illmatic, Black Moon Enta Da Stage, Wu-Tang Clan Enta Tha 36 Chambers, MC Eiht We Come Strapped, A Tribe Called Quest Midnight Marauders, Smif N Wessun Dah Shinin in 1995, Mobb Deep The Infamous....if you weren't around in the 90s you need to educate yourself and listen to those CDs as well as some others I failed to mention. I don't know what this bullshit is these days.

  • @TornadoWarning - haha daaamn , you named the best of the best my man ..if u can introduce me to eny other raw underground hit me up bro..u bump the same shit i do haha

  • @VOLGARITYSPEAKS THIS WAS MAINSTREAM AT THE TIME THEY FILMED THIS IN NC CLASSIC SHIT 93 HIP HOP

  • @TheRETROKID1980 - good classic shit indeed, now im only 17 and i have the same passion for music as enyone who grew up in the 90's does, yet my generation is stuck with lil wayn, sold out jay z, and all that other HIP POP non sence.i was only 1 when this shit came out,.and trust me ,this music wont die out as long as im around

  • hadnt heard the album before watching this video, when the Lord Jazz Hit Me One TIme Make It Funky broke in, I freaked, brilliant sample....

  • yo this shit gets me all vibed up.

    its crazy!

plus when Lord Jazz hits in that different beat and makes it FUNKYYYY,

it brings it to a whole new level of dope.

  • now that summer is almost here, there is no one puts me in the mood like LOTUG

  • the lords of the underground aren't as good anymore

  • Jam after jam, group after group. 90's hip-hop, specifically 1993, just shines in all this crap of today.

  • lol word da thug up nigga

  • why does funke have a masonic shirt on at the end of the video lol

  • because on colleges campuses, where their video is shot at, Freemasonry is a fraternity just like Alpha Phi Alpha, Omega Psi Phi, Deltas etc...

  • @JORGEesCOOLIO Cause they knew it was their time to shine. They don't even have to hide the freemasonry crap now. I think we can get our music back though. Somehow, someway.

  • if you wasn't round in the 90's..man i feel for you..cuz u missed out on some gooood music!

everyone had their own style..nowadays dudes is copy & paste swagg/style..
