The winds of love suddenly began blowing in my head Showing me the peace of my beloved You say "return my precious, rise above the separation while you are a stranger." The impatience of my imagination wandered And my highest aspiration is to be happy You emerged from the highest tower And said a strange word Return my love I don't have any destiny for me in this world You are my love but you cannot be suitable for me Oh night Oh my eye

The winds of love suddenly began blowing in my head Bringing me the greeting of my beloved Saying "return my precious" "The separatoin has been long while you are away" The impatience of my imagination wandered in a void And it was a happy wish for me She emerged from a high tower And said a strange word Return my love I don't have any destiny for me in this world You are my love but you cannot be the one for me
I've heard of her for the first time while ago, about 2 minutes ago:)) and instantly fallen in love with her voice. Unfortunately i do not speak nor understand Arabic but can sense and feel great passion. Now I will try find out bit more about her.
Erja3 ya Hobb, *Return my love, Mali fi dounya naseeb. *I dont have luck (destiny) in this world. Inta hobi lakin, *You are my love then, Mish moumkin tkouni halali. *But it is impossible that you will be mine. Ah lel *Oh night Ya 3ayni, ya. *Oh my eye, oh (Arabic term of endearment.) Khalas
stole this translatational'signification from online, (a dude named Jamil). good look Jamil!! Gafsa Habet Riyahel Hobi fi bali *The breeze of romance started blowing in my mind Tahdeeni Salam el habib X2 *Present me with the peace of my sweetheart. Tigouli Erja3 ya Ghali *You will say Return my precious, Ta3lel fourag wal il gharib x2 *Forget the separation and the strangeness
Even though i don't speak Arabic i can feel that it is about love and unhappy tears. And the translation is given below in the comments. I suggest you find the whole album HALIM - it is SUPERB! I've been listening to it non-stop for months! :)
i like the music but the problem for me and all ppl who speak arabic they don't like the lyrics of natacha coz it's not like the stanza or like poetry so for us it's like (some one singing just words like saying how are ya how is life but he actaully singing it ) but for ppl who speaking other languages it's woow but i like the music she have great personality indeed
the songs talks about she say that the wind of love has been blow sending for me message from the man i love and the wind say come back dear i'm tyird from this distance between us but she say she can't come because you are not no longer mine and there is fate that both of us will not be togther and she still love him but she say we can't be togther any more ( in the song it's like weeping about her fate that she love some one but they don't meant to 2gther)
There's hardly any other song that moves me more than this one, even though I really don't listen a lot to this kind of music. But I always return to Natacha's music when I feel like it, and Gafsa almost makes me cry, it's so emotional. (And I'm man enough to admit that)
that makes no sense. if the world we live in is not reality, but is "a dream," what is it a dream of? what is this dream representing if we have no reality? we dream about... a nonexistent reality?
Our experience of reality is the dream. But that means there is still reality needed as input for that dream. And the pattern of complex electrical streams, through a fat structure is reality too. However, how this experience is felt is still a mystery.
No, our "experience of reality" is...REALITY...by definition...Obviously, when you experience reality, you aren't experiencing a dream.
The rest of that nonsense about "complex electrical streams" and "fat structure" is...well, it's nonsense.
People need to stop trying to be so deep and artsy. It sounds retarded. You can't just make shit up that makes no logical sense and pretend you are some Warhol-type artist. Oh, man, I can't tell if this world is reality or a dream, man! Whatever.
Obviously you need to catch up what is happening in that noodle of yours. Because brains are really made out of fat, and electricity is clearly measurable, and the brain has a structure. So a structure out of fat.
The reason you can not make shit out if it doesn't mean it is. I guess I can make up by now that you are a egocentric person.
what in God's name are you talking about?! Uh, you say "when our experience of reality stops, reality is still there." Ok. Not sure how your 'experience of reality stops,' but let's go back to the whole point of this: what does that statement have to do with "our experience of reality is a dream," your previous statement that started this? Nothing that you say makes sense with what you previously said. Please, tie it together. And explain how if I disagree with you on "dreams," I'm "egocentric."
An electric circuit can't be reality on itself. It comes closer to the meaning of dream, than the reality that makes it possible. One needs reality to make it possible, but that doesn't mean it becomes it.
The fact that you decide that I talk crap, without ask a question first. The fact that you declare your experience of reality as the reality itself is pretty reasoned out of your own ego.
Your logic and your reality are it, unquestionable.
Of course my experience (and yours) is, in fact, reality. What else would be reality? If every experience of reality is actually a dream, then no reality exists, which, of course, makes no sense, and defeats the clear definition of each word. You are trying so hard to be deep and thoughtful, but you just sound like a fool. You're not Kierkegaard. The "Matrix" does not exist.
Every time you speak, humanity gets dumber. If more people would accept reality, and stop trying to sit in their mom's basement pondering whether their jack off is real, or a dream, more would be accomplished. Last word is yours.
I do not try to be deep and thoughtful. But I do not think that this electric circuit in my noodle is THE reality, while you do. And I question this, because when this circuit in my head is shut down, there are still stars in the sky, and a moment now ... so reality.
What you experience is the reality to you. What I experience is being in reality. Worthless to discuss this, since you are prejudiced. How do you know I try to be think deep, maybe I can think much deeper. You do not know.
i don't know exctly what to say about this song...but really it makes me feel amazing...it takes me somewhere in my imaginory world...i love it really i love it..
Fantastic, "Gafsa" is just one of her outstanding songs but she has many more, I love the way she combines arabic with western tunes, and on top of all: her voice!!! In this song I admire the classical guitar with the violin part, simply awsome!
The film was amazing and this song added a very special ambient to it. I think it's great that Kim-Ki Duk decided to put this song in his film, you almost get obsessed with it in the end...
My English class had to compare 3-Iron to the book Siddhartha. When I heard this song, I just knew it was Arabic. I love her voice and the tone of this song. Gosh...makes feel like I need to go someplace where there's water and just listen to this song as the sune sets or rises...sigh. It's so romantic.
So passionate song so many feelings in a sound takes me away....makes me feel melancholic and happy to live this feeling... wonderful song and the movie also!
The breeze of romance started blowing in my mind. Give me the peace of my Habibi(Beloved). You will say, 'Return my precious, forget the separation and the strangeness.'
My imagination will say, 'I wonder aimlessly, and my ambition will be happy. "And she appeared from the high towers, and said strange words...
Return my love,I don't have luck in this world. You are my love then, But it is impossible that you will be mine again.
come back, love, I have nothing but you in this life
you are my love but it's not possible to be mine
O' love
come back, love, I have nothing but you in this life
you are my love but it's not possible to be mine
Oh, Why?!!
Enough/end

The love wind blew in my mind
giving me (as a gift) my love's (the loved person) greetings
telling me, come back, my precious.
the parting is so long though you are close
my self is the one who run away
saying my aim is very difficult
she looked from her high tower
and said, your words are strange/weird

Oh night,
Oh my love,
It is Finnished.
Salaam Habibi
