I can see it with my optical receptors but my sensors cannot detect it. Could its physical form be anchored in another dimension? Attacking it is FUTILE! We could attack if we could press it into it's physical form but for now...

This guy's not the real problem on the final floor, it's the cave's design. After a set time limit on each floor, this guy is invincible and is just set on finding you and killing your pikmin. I found no trouble in killing him on the final floor, just when he spawned right next to me on floors 3 and 4 when there was still treasure left.

well, since he is visible for eyes and cameras, but invisible on radars, sonars, heat seekers, infrared and all other sensors, he is thought to be of another dimension that purple pikmin maybe exists in. he is thought to live in his own world not knowing he is killing you, that might be why he`s so scared when he comes in contact with a purple as he don`t know they exist before they hurt him. it`s complicated

@picklejuiced2 I see him as Goolix's older brother. They both look like they're made of water, use rocks as their weapons, and only a certain species of pikmin can actually hurt them. I think the waterwraith is the older bro because he actually has a body shape with usable limbs, were as goolix is just a blob, and he's a main boss you have to fight, unlike goolix whom is an optional one. Plus, Goolix isn't in Pikmin 2 so Wx2 (waterwraith) is kinda there in place of Goolix.

I FINALLY completed my Perfect-All-Treasures Run on Pikmin 2 after many annoying enemy placements, bad cave layouts, and GRUELING Resets because of screw up's, I plan to do Pikmin and Pikmin 2 LP's when I get a Mic and good recording, along with games like Super Mario 64 and Pokémon Red, so wish me luck...!
