  • where did you get that throttle? I am using the saitek pro flight yoke system but the thottle with it's stupid plastic grips is very shitty. so I am now looking for a new throttle or even some better grips for mine..

  • i guess you're flying an imaginary airplane on an imaginary flight sim

  • Its sad how much time some people have

  • Nie wygląda zbyt ergonomicznie

  • sorry m8

  • why are you lieing flight illusion dont even do force feedback yokes . i emailed them about it because i was interested in one and they said sorry we dont have any force feedback yokes :(

  • @matthew740325 Im lying because your an idiot who can't use google.... look for "flight illusion force feedback yoke" and next time don't call me a liar

  • Love the setup. You should follow a more realistic approach sequence. Gear down is never the first action except in some older aircraft that use gear as braking. Reduce speed with throttles and/or spoilers, flaps down in stages according to speed. You can use autothrottle however many pilots fly manual. Don't forget to arm spoilers.

  • @jjaus Great help! Thats just the kind of information I've been looking for. I am surprised that most pilots fly manual throttles on approach. I have a hard time keeping focused on everything else that any auto feature is utilized :) ... Do most pilots fly with the A/P during approach? I thought that was the purpose of ILS. and I did arm the spoilers. I also utilize auto-brake.

  • @sobsidian Not sure if there is a norm with manual throttles. I can tell you that almost all approaches and landing are manual. Auto land is rarely used and that would be because of heavy fog etc. The fact is that aircraft these days can be flown from take off to landing entirely by auto pilot. However, pilots would then not be well trained so that's why they land manually.

  • pretty good!!!

  • You forgot the spoiler...

  • @MontifotoTV Actually, auto spoilers were armed, so they deployed.

  • where did u get all of the items ???

  • did you build this your self it is cool

  • I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one to get a sink rate warning when landing.

  • Nice. But the screens look like 17-inch when they should be 40"

  • wow, that cockpit is so amazing it makes those monitors look pathetic. you could build out a panoramic seamless projector setup, then build the frame/ windows for the cockpit and it would be like your really flying.

  • That yoke alone is over 1000 Euro...

  • you should have the montiors littie up higher so you can see littie better

  • save the money and get a real pilot license.

  • @RobertMargera but if you can't afford, buy this, flying around the world in the comfort of your own home.

  • holy cow! where did you find that 737 set up?

  • pretty cool setup but is the cockpit in the way of the screen or is it just the angle of the camera?

  • nice and simple cockpit setup, how much is the overall cost?

  • hey, does this thing have force feedback when you apply trim too? as in, do you feel the back pressure on the yoke relieve? I need to make a choice and return my old yoke if this one is able to do that for me. appreciate a speedy response

  • all teh stuff looks nice.. but it annoys me how ur sitting so high up that the yoke is at your knees and the monitors are really low down too

  • pull up!

  • He should get those gigantic apple computers and hook those up togeather

  • @86Bil I wonder why you didn't mention him not being in uniform too, Hitler.

  • Could you please get back to me: How much did this cost to make? I'm seriously considering doing this.

  • That is a really neat setup, im assuming the mcp is from go flight, just wondering where u got the panel from, if u can get bak to me id appreciate it, cheers!!!

  • @kazianik Actually, most of the hardware is from opencockpits. You can get more details at my blog. The URL is in the video description.

  • @joaquimdorey The speed brakes are deployed automatically on touch down. You should see before I land, I ARM the speedbrakes.

  • my questions is... HOW did you got the 737 screens on YOUR screens? Is there any software that makes the airplane for that?

  • @LockyNum There are two options that I know of. The one I am using is provided by ATI's EyeFinity. The other option is a matrox triple head to go. I have used both and settled on the ATI EyeFinity because it was cheaper

  • @fryanventu He uses autobrake? Does the def. airplane have a/b? I'm not sure. Never flown the default :D

  • @Rubdos Yes, it does. But the a/b doesn't switch off when you brake manually, as in the real 737NG, and that's annoying. PMDG model simulates it well obviously, and they have a great algorithm for the braking distance in various conditions of the runway!

  • @fryanventu check out TSR AutoBrake...that version works well and just like a real boeing.

  • @Rubdos and please, set the trim before takeoff!!! It's vital for a safe takeoff that the trim is set with the value from dispatch and confirmed via FMC! There's a fixed value for takeoff. And normally the AUTOTRIM is always active, but this can vary depending on the specifications of the company you're flying for.

  • @Rubdos The autobrake is an add-on module provided by TSR. It interacts with FSX via FSUIPC. I don't use the native microsoft a/b.

  • dude raise your screens i think you will enjoy it more, but thats just me.

  • does it work with addon planes and is it easy to setup?

  • hi how much are the throttles? and are they sold in the usa?

  • @nigel45212 They were around $700-800 I don't remember with shipping. No I believe they came from spain.

  • you can find video show how to connet projector in my channel Mrkadaboy1

  • Imagine if you had that in closed cockpit, you would enjoy it even better.

  • my grandad told me if you move the joystick to fast its harder to control as i learnt from flying his plane

  • where did you get the TQ?

  • @tubeidiot88 ThorttleTek

  • men you can use projector instead of three monitor. nice job

  • @MrKadaboy1 How does that work, I am thinking building my own simulator now. Help.

  • @Axmedkoole okay, you just buy projector and plug in into pc then 1, go to start menu, control panel, display connet to a projecor 2. there is option you can choose. 3 you can set ur projecto in 180 degree. so you can get nice view and also you have to buy a nice projecto high definit HD. i hope it'll work

  • @MrKadaboy1 Thank you.

  • @Axmedkoole check out my blog (address in the description) for details

  • at last, someone with more buttons than me on their desk :D

  • Sad.

  • Hi, could you tell us how do you like the yoke? how do you rate the FFB implementation feature? Pros&cons

  • Thanks for posting this great video, showcasing our yoke. Hope you are liking it.

We also posted a link to this video on our Facebook Fanpage. Hope you don't mind. If you would have other video's, photo' or comments to share with the flightsim-community, please join our fanpage.

  • what were you doin everytime you pushed the button on the yoke?

  • @joshpugfan He was trimming. Very important part of flying.

  • @joshpugfan on a real plane that's the trim, I'm assuming what that was here.

  • idiotic FSX GPWS...

  • tumbs up!

what did this part of the cockpit cost I wanne know it becuase I'm building one for my own

  • @mydreamistobepilot : check out our website flightillusion(.)com, Flight Illusion Hardware in the product overview-section for more details on the yoke !

  • Good job!!
