They look very similar, but different in many characteristics.The moster in the movie has legs, and tentacles while this monster is purely fish, i'm not sure if this is real, or if it is a viral video. This is a nice bit of viral marketing for the new South Korean horror/comedy film The Host. Apple just posted the trailer for it which ends in a link to monsterhunterclub which links to this video.
I recommend watching the movie trailer. It looks very entertaining, if the odd mix-and-match of genres common to Asian cinema. It looks to have an unusually large budget for special effects for a South Korean monster flick though.
It's not a fish, it's another animal found by the goverment. The goverment obviously never revealed the tape until cryptidtruth and his friend guessed out the passwords and logins for some goverment site which happened to have the video in their server.
And that's why this video was posted by a South Korean at the same time as the release of The Host, with a direct link on the movie trailer to a site hyping up this video? Occam's Razor says this is viral marketing. Although the creature isn't the same as in the movie it's similar enough to make me think it was a creature model prototype that they borrowed for this marketing scheme.

The "subliminal" note is exactly what deusexmortem posted earlier. Not sure if Deus is involved in The Host marketing or was simply giving his results of piecing together the puzzle.
