He as either gotten too old to fight, or has taken too much punishment, or a little of both. I am a big chuck fan, and if u go watch his older fights he had INCREDIBLE recovery skills, allistair overeem hurt him, metzger head kicked him to the ground, jose pele rocked him but he bounced right back, in his last fight shogun just tapped him and he was out, i hope the year off did his brain good.

Chuck never really was a great fighter.
It's just that the amount of talent in the UFC wasn't so great back than when he was reigning as champion. Not to mention he's somewhat old now!

@Francog23 I think Chuck needs more time off from getting hit in the face. If I were him, IDK how id' approach this fight. Id say keep ur hands up more, so as to not get hit in the face, but that leaves him open for takedowns and Titos ground and pound and you know if Tito gets on top of him he knows it's his only chance of winning so he's gonna pound the shit out of Liddell. If I were Liddell, Id' work on reaction times, speed and having the fastest footwork possible. Those are his weak points.

Chuck might be past his prime then again so is Tito. If U look all the fighters that KOed Chuck, they are all superior strikers with excellent stand up and KO power. Tito's stand up skills are nowhere close to Rampage, Shogun, and Rashad. If Tito can't take Chuck down, I see Tito having a very difficult time and there's no way Tito can outstrike Chuck. History will repeat itself, 3rd time's gonna be a charm.

I think Chuck has been given the toughest fights out there. Now, he could have beat Jardine and I'm sure if Chuck wasn't so eager to knock Rashad out he wouldn't have got caught like that and would of beat rashad too. Rampage and Shogun are just better than Chuck and he'd never beat them now. Chuck just isn't in his prime anymore and has a problem with training hard. I think if Chuck doesn't party and trains like a beast, he can still be a top contender. He can still beat top 10 ranked opponents

I think a long break is maybe what chuck needed to get more motivated and feel rejuvenated. I think its not fair for everyone to say chuck is shit now...he's done. etc. In the last 5 fights he's had, apart from probably Keith Jardine, which I think Chuck took lightly, Chuck has faced top 5 ranked opponents in the division: rashad, Shogun, rampage. There's no shame in losing to those guys.

Believe me when I say, Chuck CAN be a devastating fighter but this time he really needs to open more area's in his style. He has great wrestling which he needs to use and he has to throw more kick\punch combos.

Chuck is really dellusional if he sincerely thinks in the heart of hearts that he has a shot at getting a shot at the title. I mean i don't expect him to role over and die but how can he really beat any of the top 5 or even top 10 light heavyweights in the UFC? For him to get a shot at the title again, he'd have to at least get passed Thiago, Rashad, Lyoto or Rampage. And that's not happening any time in this century. He's fought 2 of the 4 fighters i mentioned and got knocked out cold 3 times.
