thats a great movie!!! but! they could catch him instead of shooting him, for example when he came down the stairs and says "i want a car backside" then the other 2 guy started following him. so...
Hello fellas, If you like this kind of films, I encourage you to go check the trailer of my Belmondo Professional like film "Le Baroudeur Red Band Trailer" on my channel. I really hope you'll enjoy it I put a lot of heart in it and this movie was one of my main inspiration. Please, don't hesitate to comment and giving me your feedback.
During the 1980s in USA Schwarzenegger and Stallone were racing who would be the greater superman on screen. The macho-racing on screen between Delon and Belmondo in France started earlier - during the 1970s.
In both countries the results were the same - absurd story plots, cartoon-type characters, ho-hum action, forced "humor", cheesy dialogues, overacting... Mountains of cinematic garbage that paved the way toward now day`s Oscar-coated no-brain blockbusters.
dddrw, this is one of my favorite movies at all the times. I have none but respect to Jean Paul Belmondo. Is he still alive or no ? thank you for posting this. It took me back in earlie 80's.
He had a serious "cardio-vasculaire" problem some years ago which took him out off any activity. We didn't hear/see anything at all from him in the media during this period. Some days ago, they told about a coming back of him on the scene, meaning somehow that he got it over.
a brilliant masterpiece... and shure one of the best Belmondo movies out of some real good.
I just ask myself how le professionnel gets a 2nd part when they shoot him in the last scene...
But by every review i did i liked the plot and the film even more... a classic
