I love The Late Show, it's so funny. My mum and dad watched in the 90s and the final Late Show episode aired two months after I was born (1993). I got into it last year when I bought the DVD of Bargearse/The Olden Days. From there my collection built up: The Best and Second Best of the D-Generation, The Best Bits of the Late Show, Frontline, Funky Squad. This is great, superb acting from Rob and Jane.

Nobody does it like the D Gen... no one has ever been able to match it!!! I have been cacking myself since that ad came back on TV a few weeks ago and was STOKED to find it on youtube!!! Funniest ever!!!! So watching the Best Of tonight (Champagne edition of course!!!!!).

PS @melsmum you should be proud to have a Pissweak Kid... I loved them!!!!

YES! I am in Australia. I can't believe they are showing a TVC that is SO old. It is what made me come and search for the Dickhead Tonight skit.

@rubyandolive out of all the work Melissa did as a child actor, this was her very favourite. Her part was filmed in a tiny office space @ the ABC Melb studios-she adored Rob Sitch...Rob allowed her to get away with things most adults wouldn't...he and Santo used to call her a little "thesbian" (actor) and as a little girl she thought this was totally naughty and hilarious. Thanks for your comments.

I remember The Late Show guys said that when the boy says his dickhead line, they had to do about 20 takes because he kept laughing everytime he said the word! He apparently thought he was the luckiest kid in the world - getting to say "dickhead" on tv!! Hahaha.

This is hilarious! Too bad we can't use the word "dickhead" on free network TV in the US as this is the perfect spoof of this annoying (yet hard to forget) ad campaign. Luckily, this product was discontinued in the US at least a decade ago and towards the end it could only be found at nasty discount places like Phar-Mor Drug and Big Lots since it had a pretty long shelf life.
