I must say I was always a bigger Madonna fan than a Kylie fan, but "X" was a brilliant album, and frankly "Confessions" and "Hard Candy" weren't.

X sucked hence its low chart placing, dire sales and inability to sell beyond her hardcore fan base, America as usual wasnt even interested. It was a mix bag of the usual cast offs via the old tired electro route she's been peddling for most of the 00's, Madonna ditched that with her Music album in 2000. Even No More Rain sounded like a Ray Of Light era B-side. X should stand for X-criment, Confessions was a landmark album, she returned to her disco roots, Candy was fun, inspired AND was a hit!

Sorry to disagree, but X had loads of good songs and good tunes.

Confessions had three good songs: Forbidden Love, Jump and New York. Hung Up was nice, but ABBA were so much better.

Hard Candy had abysmal singles: 4 Minutes (made worse by Timberlake, he's such a nonentity) and Give It 2 M. Both albums not a touch on Ray Of Light, Music, Like A Prayer.

The songs you say which are her best from Confessions are actually among the weaker on the album, as a collection it was awsome, Push was the kind of credible tribal/dance track Kylie and her clan has been trying to coin for years, the album showed innovation and depth, Hard Candy gave us Madonna's 13th UK chart topper, she chose a different direction, not like Kylie! why else would Kylie now be working with yet more Madonna cast offs? Step forward Mr Stuart Price and Mr Redone, i rest my case.
