If the great Bruce Lee was alive during the filming they probably would have used him and he probably would have accepted.

This film short was inside of the theatrical release Kentucky Fried Movie, written by a couple of unknowns (at the time.) Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker. You know, the guys that went on to write Airplane!, launching a whole new genre of movies and reinventing Leslie Nielson's career. Oh, it was also directed by an unknown at the time, John Landis.

Have you seen the actual movie? Not a remake and it's a great parody. Jesus, just another idiot shooting from the hip without a clue about what he is talking about.

Bruce Lee had a great sense of humor and I'm sure would have approved. Hell, they might have talked him into playing the title role. Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker and John Landis did a great job, working with a tiny budget of only $650,000.
