  • kingdom of god..... lol

  • Tough but fair. I bet he is!

  • the dude eats like a fucking pig, even chokes on it,piggg

  • Why are people so irrational, why do they chosses comforting flasehoods over actual reality?

  • @khylate you gave the answer yourself: because reality, most of the time, isn´t very comforting. someone you love dies. isn´t it comforting to believe that they are in a better place, that you get to see them again one day? takes guts to acknowledge that no, this is all there is. i wouldn´t think less of anyone who´s looking for a little comfort in a harsh world.

  • Wayne probably wanted to kill Jane, saw the way he looked at him? xD

  • @TheRebSab All in good acting :)

  • Van Pelt!!!

  • Love the noise rigsby makes after what Jane says :)

  • I think Red John is Brett Partridge or his helper. Or may be hes being black mailed.. Hmm. Interesting. We'll see. =)

  • I adore this scene; Van pelt was amazing.Jane was trying to undermine her belief by his rigsby comments, but she was undeterred. In one scene we meet all these characters: shows his cynicism, her faith,

  • You tell him Grace :P

  • I love this scene !!!

  • "Oh, I do so hope you're wrong" XDDD

  • 0:44 I love Van Pelt's naughty smile there...

  • i watch this show at thementalistepisodes . org

  • Van Pelt is Red John.........I think....

  • I've always wondered why Simon Baker has an obvious Aussie accent, i.e when he says. "you're father was a football coach, yeah?" while Owain Yeoman pretty much flawlessly covers up his British one. You would think that Simon Baker would fire his speech coach or put more effort into his American accent, or both. Ideally, he would just speak with his natural accent. Why he has to be American, I don't know.

  • You poor sad man. haha <3 it

  • Why was Van Pelt the one to be all religious when it's Lisbon who always wears the Cross necklace?

  • i miss this jane, the one from season one (i love when he's a cold asshole). he's seems...different in season two, more goofy and ridiculous. geez, season one was awesome (not that season two is horrible or anything).

  • i dont like grace in this scene, she seems really stuck up here. Overall, shes one of my fave characters, but here, in this scene i dont like her... funny scene tho :P

  • I agree with you, she annoyed me here, but I usually love her in the series. I laughed out loud when Rigsby choked on his food xD Gotta love that couple.

  • pancake shoe piano fly.

See, I can throw out random words as well. Next time try to form a sentence, it helps people understand you.

  • @carlossolorzano1926

    i lol'd.

  • the boys and their bibs LOL I also Love jane teasing rigsby and van pelt at the end

  • well when you eat crab and lobster or stuff like that at a seafood restaurant, you usually wear a bib to avoid a mess on yourself. looks kinda silly, but that's how it works.

  • haha Poor Rigsby xP^^

  • this makes me laugh like every single time

  • 2:17 hahaha!!

  • lol cho and rigsby were wearing bibs

  • 'Firm but fair' would have been funnier.

  • I don't think Grace is being disrespectful toward Patrick any more than he is to her... I think she says what she says out of concern and not judgment.

What I can't figure out is how the comment about Rigsby inviting her to his room has anything to do with the conversation!!! Anyone? :)

  • I honestly don't know... that comment was soo random!

  • He wanted to end the afterlife subject ASAP. Sex is the number one thing with Grace that pushes her embarrassment buttons and it changed the subject quickly.

He uses sexual embarrassment in other episodes with Grace-the time he claimed he was her college professor who seduced her for example-messy women are good lovers. It's a way he manipulates women. IMO he actually flirts more with Grace than Lisbon. She lets him closer to him physically (find the keys) and 'play with her' more.

  • Hmm... that makes sense! Thanks for sharing your insightful perspective. :)

  • i love Simon Baker

  • you poor sad man the kingdom of god is a real place! hate people who act like they no for a fact lol Ino it's only a show but there are people in the world like this. I respect people who believe in the other side...they should show the same respect to peiople that dont...it is there decision.

  • The problem is that this isn't an argument about god that's being discussed, it's an argument for fake-its, I mean psychics, it's well known that all of them are fakes of one kind or another, the problem is some people like her not only fail to look at the evidence or listen without applying deep meaning, they get taken for all the money they have and since the scam makes money the fake-its continue their deceptive tricks.

  • There is no other side, there is no other side. Its simply two statements by two different people that believe in their own things, pointless arguing. You'll never get a winner, that person will always stick to what they believe in.

I'm with Patrick Jane, my opinion is that there is nothingness...once your dead, your dead, you don't go to another side and watch over people. In Religious Education, I learnt that the kingdom of god was above me...not to the side....hmmmm.

  • Very good scene but I still don't find this conversation believable. It seems very awkward, but they act as if it's a normal thing.

Then again, I do like this very much. I am gonna start watching the show now.

  • Definitely agree with the Teresa/Patrick opinions... they're totally cute together, and it seems to get better with every new episode.

And about the scene: I fell off my chair laughing when I first watched it - Jane's comment on Rigsby and Van Pelt was just too much *laughs*

  • I really enjoy this show. Simon Baker is really funny as Patrick Jane. My dad will watch it with me when it's on CBS! :)

  • this was the scene that made me fall in love with this show.

i love how lisbon doesnt say much once they stop talking about the suspect.

  • I heart Rigsby and Van Pelt!

  • me too!!!!

  • *Rigsby is a nice little lover, I'm sure!* ha ha, love it! Oh yeah, though Patrick doesn't really have a love interest in the show yet, if he ever has one, I think it's going to be Teresa Lisbon. They deserve to be together!

  • i wonder if simon baker can caught michael hall from dexter... :p

  • dude, that would be the ultimate crossever ever.

  • Isn't SHOWTIME an affiliate of CBS?

  • i wish grace!

  • wait what did he do? didn't his hand move it?

  • There's no love interest. He is a recent widower. Red John killed his wife and daughter.

  • Uh, his dead wife?

  • can someone please tell me who the patrick guys love interest is in the show???

    please tell me!!!

    thanx! :)

  • i think its lisbon

  • me too.. they make a cute couple :P
