While better is better, it is still not "humane." There is a BIG difference between animals eating each other in the wild, and humans eating animals that came from slaughter houses where the majority of animals are kept in small stalls or cages with barely enough room to move around. Not to mention the hormones they are injected with and the constant stress, many never seeing the light of day. At least with animal vs animal it's fair game.

Honey isn't vegan. I know some people say it depends on the vegan, but it doesn't. A vegan lifestyle is all about imposing the least amount of suffering. Honey bee farming is cruel - please look into it. They mutilate the queen bee's wings, and many bees are harmed or killed due to handling or beekeeping equipment. Many colonies are killed just to serve the farmer's economic respects. Bee farming also the cause of the decline in the honey bee population.
Just so you're aware, Morningstar isn't vegan. They put eggs and milk in their products. Also, Morningstar, Boca, and the like aren't "natural and organic". They are very, very, VERY processed. I would suggest replacing them with either tempeh or seitan (probably the latter, because it usually tastes better to me).

Chris, fyi, Morning Star crumbles is not vegan, it uses both eggs and milk. If you want a true vegan meat analogue for tacos, that would be a lot cheaper in comparison to Morning Stars 3 dollar handful of product, but textured vegetable protein...it's used in the their crumbles.
For 3 dollars, maybe even less you could make a whole lot more tacos. It's a dry product that absorbs whatever you put it in, it could be used from making your own burgers and any number of things.

Just so you're aware, Morningstar isn't vegan. They put eggs and milk in their products. Also, Morningstar, Boca, and the like aren't "natural and organic". They are very, very, VERY processed. I would suggest replacing them with either tempeh or seitan (probably the latter, because it usually tastes better to me).

i reeeeallllly want to become vegetarian, but I'm anemic and being anemic i have low iron, iron is in meat, soo yeah see were that's going :/
but i can take iron supplements, which i do but yeah the whole vegetarian thing isn't okay with my parents either. and the food for veterinarians looks kind of expensive, so i guess i just wait till i'm out of the house to do my own thing, like becoming vegetarian (:

@coolstorybro723 Iron isn't just in meat. Although meat usually provides a greater amount of iron than other foods. I'm sorry about your parents. My parents are just like that. I chose to rebel and become a vegan anyways, they've gotten used to it now since it's almost been three years. So, good luck on being a vegetarian whenever you do become one or if you do.

@iColourz1 Not if you are VEGAN. Vegan = non-consumption of ANY animal products. That means anything that has been harvested/created by the labour of animals. Since honey is made by bees, it is not vegan.

I like this video very much and think you should do more of them, but if you are vegan, you better ditch the honey mustard. Eating honey is not vegan. Also, Morning Star products are not organic. Look at the back label of the ingredients. It will blow your mind. I think you are awesome and I think you are a genius, I love your music, and all I want for you is happiness and success. I was the same way when I was learning the Vegan lifestyle. It's a lot to learn. Thanks for all you do.

Chris, fyi, Morning Star crumbles is not vegan, it uses both eggs and milk. If you want a true vegan meat analogue for tacos, that would be a lot cheaper in comparison to Morning Stars 3 dollar handful of product, but textured vegetable protein...it's used in the their crumbles.
For 3 dollars, maybe even less you could make a whole lot more tacos. It's a dry product that absorbs whatever you put it in, it could be used from making your own burgers and any number of things.

@NikoClemente its because being a vegitarian for reasons of being nicer to animals are hypocritical and they usually have no sense of biology. we are animals and we are carnivors by nature. you wouldnt try to feed a lion carrots cuz he would take your face off. the same goes for me, take my cheese burger away and someone is getting hurt. remember meat tstes like murder and murder tastes pretty damn good.

I honestly think this vegan stuff, is just...........to be blunt, stupid. I mean, you won't even eat cheese or honey because it somehow hurts the bees and cows? It's a SUBSTANCE, not MEAT. I think that's just going a bit too sensitive.
But anywho. Eat whatcha eat, who am I to judge? I wouldn't want you to judge me for eating meat. It's not something you agree with, and that's fine, but don't judge. I think people really need to understand that kind of balance and respect for each other.

@Indiegirl007 its because cows are made pregnant constantly to produce mil and when the baby is born they take the babys away from the mothers to be chained to the ground so they cant walk and their flesh becomes viel.. im a vegiterian i just dont eat the flesh of an animal but chris is vegan so he doesnt eat any animal products at all
