Yes, I like Harbor Freight. Their prices have allowed me to buy tools that I otherwise would have had to do without.
If I was buying a tool to be used 8 hours a day I would buy a domestic tool. But having said that, I could buy a domestic tool and once I received it, find out it was made in China.
All of my welding equipment is domestic but most of it is rather old so It was purchased before the explosion of China made tools.
My air compressor is a 6 HP with a 60 gallon tank. Runs on a 220 line.
Previously I had a 3 HP with a 20 gallon tank and that was adequate for most of my air tools. Once in awhile I would have to wait for it to catch up, but that rarely happened.
The tank rusted out so I was looking for a new compressor.
I wouldn't have bought this large of compressor but the price was too good to pass up.
