I have a question...I have the latest version of firefox and I tried to download the pixel measureit program, but when I tried to open it, it said it wasn't compatible..is there any other way or any other program that does the same which I could use?

the code that you start out with is the "beginning code" when you click "more info" to the right. the ending code which how it should look like is labeled "ending code". what else don't you get?

i hope you know the pixel movements,example - ( top: 30% left:80% ) they are different on different internets. for example. i have 2 laptops... an windows XP & a vista & i have safari ( from apple ) downloaded . all different interenets. the positioning might look good on my window XP . but not on vista. or safari.

look for this in the code and change the 6 digits after "color" to an html color that you can look up on google.

but i don't want to change the color of all the text in that section. I just want to change like one sentence. Like is there a code that will work with the DIV that i can put just around the text i want a different color?

I do not know if it does, try asking in the createblog forums. Sorry, I haven't done band layouts.

I hope this answers your question, I use the Codes in the video info to the right. I just started out with Code 1-which was the original code for another of my layouts, and Code 2- was the final result. You also need a program to make your background image for the div overlay, you can use MS Paint, GIMP, Adobe Photoshop, or you can even make a background in Flash if you know how, After Effects, Illustrator, it's up to your preference and budget for each program.

I really like the tutorial :) Thanks for sharing but since I am using a picture I made myself it is kind of confusing to me as I am trying to code a completely different image...but I really did learn a lot from this :)

Thanks =) You're Welcome. It's the same concept, just switch the background image and decide if you want to add a comment box or friends div. I will be doing more tutorials.
