If I've learned anything from Halo (2 and 3) it's that rank does not mean s***. High rank only means three things in most people I've played against; it's some whiny kid who is trying to get attention because everyone he knows hates him; or, they payed for it for the bragging rights because they had no social life, and no one (and nothing) to brag about. And the last one is that you actually DID play all the way up to that, in which case you also fit into the second category (no life).
