This country is divided and falling apart and these idiots are off in Rwanda giving aid to black nations ? I do not pay my taxes for them to be spent this way. I am a taxpayer, I require the right to be heard and listened too.
Tory wankers, look at the armed forces......stick our nose into nearly every country with oil & then make the soldiers & logistics people of the UK redundant & then lets give our money to the corrupt countries of the world & get a posh twat celebrity to talk over it....David Cameron, you really are a big twat fo sho :(
@SuperAstatine they are all the same, shot from the same barrel - a bunch of privileged thus well-schooled yuppies who don't know the meaning of a decent days work and never known hunger or homelessness and all off the expense of the public. They are leeches, leeches who give nothing in return for a badly done job.
@TODB0AMER Just google it, The Guardian will have 9 million articles about Tory party funding but it won't be from the Bin Laden Family. Alan Rusbridger would have had a stroke masturbating over it. And besides the Bin Laden family is too busy building ridiculous looking clock tower things to fund political parties.
@taxiride1 welll it's tory policy to hand Libya over to Al Quaeda so it wouldn't be so far fetched for them to take donations from another dodgy Johnny foreigner would it? especially one endorsed by the extreme right in the USA!
The first order of business for the British Government this morning is to keep on persecuting Gadaffi from developing Lybia into a free sovereign nation, with it's own currency and stable infrastructure. So get on the phone to the former terrorist suspects you once interrogated and move them into position, ready to undermine a ligitimate government in another war based entirely on lies.
@Rabilay1 Do you think he was good for Libya? I have to admit I only know of him because he was disrespectful to the King of Saudi Arabia. He sort of slipped under my political radar.
In a word, no. I know he has many supporters and those who despise him. But I beleive that his plans for a new currency that would have undermined the US Dollar throughout Africa is the reason for this current NATO bombardment. I am sensitive to illigiment reasons for war. However, if the reason for conflict is to demote a despotic nut-case, then I am for direct action. But at the same time, we should not ally ourselves with terrorists expecting good intentions from them.
@Rabilay1 Not oil then? I've been researching: The guide of the revolution, José "Useless Knobhead" Zapatero cross legged with his socialist hand out, Tony Blair grinning. They all seem to line up to kiss arse and when the oil flows threatened, by insanity or public uprising, they put the boot in. The man was the last king of Wales, I tip my hat to that; but it's good politics sending him on his way because I need to fill the car.
who wants to work six day a week in some crummy factory until you drop dead? you are all still promoting a greedy way of life instead of using technology to free ourselves! a three day working week where people have freedom and time to be with your family, a greedy way of life has become normal and addictive and you people are the worst ,no wonder people are so angry!you just dont get it! so there! er enjoy!!!!!!
Well, good for them - but so what? The government's job is to govern well, which means, to protect the individual rights of those they govern - *not* to be "compassionate", at home or abroad. Conservative MPs can do what they like with their summers, so long as they cut public spending during their winters.

@WilliamGruff Every volunteer who travelled with Umubano this year paid for everything themselves, they werent government funded - the project is just ran through the Conservative party.
@arhudson01: The volunteers may well have paid for 'everything', whatever that means, themselves but who pays for all the drugs and equipment they use? Who pays for all the administrators, there and here, the logistics and other support and the MPs' 'fact finding missions'? That bloody fool Cameron has committed English tax payers to paying twelve thousand million pounds per annum in overseas aid while cutting spending on health and everything else in England, so it's not unreasonable to ask.
@homiezrgr8: Who are you to decide our priorities? Money is taken from us under duress and disbursed without our consent purely on the basis that those who take that money with menaces believe, in their overweening arrogance, that they are better able to determine how it should be spent than we, although all they spend it on is maintaining their place at the trough and buying a mention in the history books.
As an aside, I shouldn't stop taking those pills were I you.
Seems like a nice project. Well done to all the volunteers.
One question: if health is at the heart of DfID, why is there no spending on maternal health in Afghanistan? Creation of jobs is a higher priority despite 24000 women dying in childbirth each year.

The spend our money in Rwanda and black communitys here in the UK
not good.
World War 2 brought suffering, sacrifice and housing shortage.
66 years later people like Cameron have made sure nothing has changed.

''Why is the English tax payer paying for health overseas while suffering poor health, due to government incompetence, at home?
Cameron is a bloody fool.

The reason is that Mr Cameron wants to detoxify the Tory brand. It's a pity that English taxpayers are picking up the tab for it.
