Find where the law is in the old testament. If this was a law it had more to do with the conditions of biblical times then it did with providing children to continue the line. I don't know... I live in a fairly liberal/moderate city in PA and so does my girlfriend. We're both very "butch"-looking and "acting", and we have it quite a bit harder than some of our male gay friends in public. It's "ok"/more accepted to be a gay woman... just as long as "woman" (as a social and 'gender' role) takes precedence over "gay".
um... its still hard being a lesbian in society though... my wife and I don't have it any easier. Her parents wont even let me in their house. So come on now...

A) Homosexuality is a choice and should be treated with the same respect as religion.
B)It isn't a choice and should be treated the same as race or gender.

Like it or not, I was raised a Christian all my life, I know more about the Bible than you seem to because you come off as very foolish, the bad spelling and grammar are just part of that. I honestly don't care what religion or sex you are, it's when your homophobia and hatred run rampant and effect other people's lives you aren't doing what Jesus would do at all. Some Christians even believe Jesus was gay.

They try to prove their claim that Jesus was Gay by taking bits and peices of verses and twisitng around what the verse really means. One poster even used bible verses that have nothing to do with Jesus. When I say poster I'm talking about an actual poster and you can probably find it on a google search. I'm sorry but those people are mislead. Jesus was not Gay, he never said homosexuality was okay, and the bible does not confirm homosexuality!

I've heard so many different varriations of what scriptures promote homosexuality it's hard to tell which ones you looking at. If you are of those that believe Ruth and Naomi were lesbians i know a pastor who could tear that idea to shreds. I'll even explain where they get it wrong in a personal message because it would be too hard to do in 500 words.

@CarlosMensuckass Typical atheist trick. This is a passage where the Sadducees are asking a question, it's a hypothetical question. They are asking about one of Moses's law's. It is a law that had to do more biblical times than anything else. However the law is irrelevant to this passage because the Sadducees are asking Jesus about the ressurection in this particular passage. In Jesus's reply he say's the Sadducees are in error, is the law they speak of even a law. cnt.

I would love to hear this websites explaination as to how a text about the resurrection confirms homosexuality? Jesus is saying that durng the second comming the dead will rise and be living again and that we will not be who we were before. Ever heard of people saying when someone who was paralyzed or blind dyes that now they are walking in heaven or that now they can see?

I could try and dispute the obvious website you got the Matthew verse from, About.com which led me to a booklet put out by soulforce, but I do not think my efforts would be very sucessful as you have stated your opinion many times that you think I am a complete idiot. Find where the law is in the old testament. If this was a law it had more to do with the conditions of biblical times then it did with providing children to continue the line. Back then it would have been hard for a widow to provide for herself, which might be why there was slavery, by marrying one of her deceased husbands brothers it would provide the widow with food and shelter. Other cultures, I think even some indian Cultures, practice this custom as well.

What you also don't know is that there are organizations that target what is allowed to appear on TV. I don't think lesbians are more accepted than gay men. Not on a real visible level, not in my experience. There might be titillation currency in the media but thats not true acceptance of our rights and real relationships and life partners on a daily basis.

I don't know... I live in a fairly liberal/moderate city in PA and so does my girlfriend. We're both very "butch"-looking and "acting", and we have it quite a bit harder than some of our male gay friends in public. It's "ok"/more accepted to be a gay woman... just as long as "woman" (as a social and 'gender' role) takes precedence over "gay".

Ok that guy at 5:15 is saying God still loves him, which is true, God loves everyone, but God will not save you if you dont turn your life over to Him. To me, that guy is not really saved, once you turn your life over to Christ he gives you strenth to stop sins, not saying that every christian is perfect.. But when you are saved, you KNOW you are saved, and will have strenth to fight temptations that hender your walk with God.

I don't see how NOT believing in God is Valued or Sacred, and Atheist don't PRACTICE anything. Christians Practice their religion by going to church, praying, and reading the bible. Atheist DON'T practice anything. And there's no written set of beliefs or teachings for Atheism either. Atheism means you don't believe in a God, simple as that, nothing more.
