  • @srdale17 I can't remember how the winnings work. Does the person who gives clues win any of the money?

  • 1:19 Trolly Cars - San Francisco have Cable Cars not Trolly Cars

  • on wikipedia, it said Cheryl won $150,800. correct me if i'm wrong, but doesnt Dick Clark say she wins $151,400??? i've got two different totals. which one is right????

  • Dick DID say he was the "world's worst mathematician" ;)

  • That's why he reads things off of signs the stagehands hold up! Hehe!

  • Boy, this must be the decade where clothes standards for the audience went waaayyyyy down hill. Anyone catch the guy with the loonnngg white tube socks and very short shorts?? Yeeps!!! I miss the shows where audiences dressed up , course we are in a world now where ppl where their beach wear to church! (in winter!! LOL) Kidding about the winter part.

  • Re: "Kidding about the winter part"

Depends on where you live ;)

  • Well guys, just to let you know:

Audrey Landers made 53 this month and she is STILL HOT!

  • Really? I read she was 50...

  • Well she was really born in 1956, not 1959.

  • okk guyss go to my channel to get the exclusive behind the scenes look on the new Million dollar pyramid game show.

  • when will it be on, what channel, and how does the tournament work?

  • the new Million dollar pyramid is coming out soonn, they did a remake of it , i was part of the audience a behind the set video wud be in my channel soonn

  • Oh wow... Million Dollar Pyramid? That's wonderful... I look forward to your "Behind the Scenes" look at it. Please, let me know when you have it posted.

  • I wish there were.

  • Audrey Landers is not only a Dynamic Singer and Actress, but she is an excellent Pyramid Player, and I'll bet that she gave Charlene Tilton and Ken Kercheval some good advices on how to play Pyramid when they were on the show.

Well let me put it to you this way: Audrey Landers helped this contestant do like J.R. Ewing and Strike It Rich with $151,400 making her THE Biggest Winner in the 35+ year history of Pyramid and Charles Siebert on the show was another great Pyramid/Game Show Player.

  • This was the best game show ever. The BEST! IMHO

  • It was this nail biting drama that made the Pyramid the success that it was.Although it wasn't audience participation friendly,it was way more thrill inducing than Wheel Of Fortune,Family Feud,or Jeopardy ever will be.Donny Osmond's version bit the big one.The modern technology just took away from its' charm,if you ask me.

  • I feel that the reason why Donny Osmond's Pyramid bit the dust was the fact that people who knew how pyramid was expected the same format/design set. When it was release, I was shocked to see the cool technology, but the game format was different... 6 clues in 20 seconds? You HAD to win a total of $25,000 and be quick for the tournament? The categories alone were stupid to me, but some were funny. There was no "here is your first subject.." and the camera angles were off, bouncing too much.

  • Regardless,Donny Osmond's was a joke!

  • @Singingboy1978 They wanted it to be different, and it was... it just turned off a lot of the viewers who remembered the old series.

  • Dang! Did the whole audience rush the stage or something? :D

  • I believe the audience came on stage with the contestant's permission. Maybe to celebrate the moment.

  • Audrey

    Cheryl

  • I used to love/be intimidated by Dick warning the audience to be quiet before the $100K WC's. Pretty cool.

  • Guess what! They are bringing back Pyramid!

Monday 7/21/08 on GSN at 6/5c PM!

    DON'T MISS IT!!!

  • I know... I'm looking forward to it!

  • It's the Donnymid, though. Damn that GSN...

  • Can't GSN do ANYTHING right these days?

  • Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I knew it was the Donny version (which is a little screwy, but that's my opinion) but THIS version, the $100,000, will be on New Years Eve but I wish GSN would put it back in the line-up.

  • Who's the celebrity the blonde hair?

  • Audrey Landers

  • What's the contestant's name?

  • Cheryl Reinwand.

  • Thanks for answering that... I couldn't remember what her last name was!

  • Hey, "anything in San Francisco" was used in the first $100,000 Pyramid tournament, too!

  • i loved this show. does it still come on tv anymore?

  • I'm pretty sure that Chuck Woolery never hosted the Pyramid. Donny Osmond and John Davidson have. Woolery had done many shows including Lingo and Wheel Of Fortune

  • Chuck was a piece of wood and a poor host.

  • I just love that little squeal the cluegiver lets out, it's so sexy lol

  • Yep, Audrey Landers. God, she was HOT. Still is, too.

  • I agree!!! Audre7 was smokin hott!! WHEW!!!

  • Amen! The Price Is Right, Family Feud are up there too, but because of how hard it was to win, and because that clock was ticking, when someone won, EVERYONE WAS EXCITED!! Contestant, celebrity, audience, TV viewers!!!

  • lol look at the guy's socks at 2:21. Fucking geek.

Meanwhile, why did the whole audience come out? Rather odd, no?

  • I heard something that recently on "Family Guy" that there was a part of the episode where they did a mini-spoof of this show. Could someone let me know if that clip gets posted on this site or direct me to it if it's on already?

  • That clip is available by itself on YT.

  • lol it was hilarious!!!!

  • yea it was how can i search it

  • What year?

  • 1986, the year i was born

  • sorry.

  • you know nascar. Micheal waltrip suckssss.

  • While they were stumbling on the first category, I didn't think they were going to win, but they did!

  • I'm surprised she didn't go absolutely apeshit when she won. Another girl I saw win this did. I'm hoping that clip is here.

  • No matter how many times I see them, the Pyramid bonus rounds always get to me. Why did they ever take this show off the air? Best game show EVER!

  • Reason 100,000: I believe that there are very serious contestants and bitches!

  • I love it when the gays win $100,000. This win, along with MG McCormick's near-record win were fabulous. Unfortunately, Dean Minerd got his ass kicked by Debbie Seppien in his tournament. Dean didn't make it to the Winner's Circle once. (Out of the 8 attempts, Debbie played 7, Al Rosales played 1).

  • Note the big striped tube socks on a couple of the guys who rush the stage.

  • Ah the 80's Look... gotta love it! LOL

  • TRUE!!!

  • Things in San Francisco was one of the boxes in 2 of the 4, that I have seen, $100,000 wins.

  • The 2nd win posted and this one doesn't have the trilon shimmy like the 1st and 3rd ones... :)

  • Actually, if u look very closely at the "pyramid", u can see the $100 and $150 blocks wiggling very slightly. I LOVED it when they did that! Great way of signaling the BIG wins!

  • Timing and scoring said 51"917 (08"083 remaining)

  • Again?!

  • $100,000 Pyramid actually taped on the same stage that The Price is Right does, stage 33 at CBS. Oh, and the year was 1986 (notice the winner's shoulder pads LOL).

  • The run this at least once a year on GSN, when they do the New Year's eve marathon of Pyramid. How many did this studio hold? I know TPIR holds about 325, but I bet the other studios were slightly smaller. Wow, seemed like the whole damn audience rushed the stage, worse than the college crowds on TPIR. But a very nice win indeed!

  • You know that's not longest tournament, the longest tournament took 24 tries, I hope someone shows that win.

  • I hope so too....I remember the last category was "THINGS YOU COMMIT"---the winning clue was "A sin."

  • yy, that was the longest tournament win 24 tries with the COMMIT won, anyone has that win, upload it

  • What year was that?

  • 1986

  • That explains Cheryl's shoulder pads.

  • BIGGEST WIN EVER IN Pyramid history. The total of $150800 vs, $151400 can be due to the fact of Dick Clarks countless math errors..lol!!!! Way to go Cheryl!!! Although Audrey seemed she was nervous throughout the tournament

  • sjsuman, they don't add the $600 in, the just bumped that too $100,000 the day before she had $150,800.

  • Why did the entire audience come up at the end???

  • They always used to do that on $100,000 pyramid (but when it was $10,000 or $25,000, it was just the people there for the contestant, not the whole audience). Not the other versions, though, if i remember correctly.

  • It's actually $151,400.

  • It took 18 attempts total before she hit the jackpot

    $150,800 total

  • Well, well, she finally made it up there and won the $100,000. She had gone to the winner's circle 6 times in a row, 3 episodes, twice each day. That's quite a workout!!! But I'm pleased to see that she finally won the money.

  • I watched that entire tourney on GSN before this happened, and by attempt #6, I was just going "Come on, woman - you had enough practice. GET IT ALREADY!"

    And she did.

    Congratulations, lady!

  • Man, I LOVE seeing $100,000 wins!

  • No, the $25,000 Pyramid premiered in 1982, not 1986.

  • 10000 $_$ smack a rooo way to guy baby asosme :) you save taht momey money or buy some good things with it wow 100000 wow :)

  • Tony Bennet's misplaced heart.
