A group of individuals working perfectly in unison can also be said to be "one". E.g. saying "we are one body" or "the people is one" (Gen.11:6) mean we have or do similar things in common. So 1+1+1 = 3. the " 3 " being a singular collective (unit) number. So likewise is God the Father, Son Holy Spirit. All working as "one" unit in perfection. So what's up?

As for 1st john 5:7-8, it is a interpolation added by the Latin church, this verse DOES NOT EXIST IN ANY ORIGINAL GREEK MANUSCRIPT, the majority of Bible versions have rejected this verse apart from KJV. NIV rejects it.

I do believe the bible is the word of God but keep in mind that even scholars admit some biblical facts were updated to modern times and that there was a whole side of the Bible in the English version that never existed in the original texts. I just dont believe Jesus was "Lord and Savior" I believe he was a messenger.

@FobSisters How can mere men validate the bible- the word of the Almighty God? The muslims pastime is to say that the bible has been polluted or has been tampered with and not the 'original'. But ask them to produce the unpolluted original and they start to give incomprehensible answers. Deedat wrote volumes on this but thank God he was exposed. That's why I always tell muslim friends-forget what your mallams have brainwashed you for a minute and use your God given brains and minds.
