I spent some time in college rocking large mascot like costumes and if I ever took off my costume in front of the people I were entertaining, I'd get my ass handed to me by the big man. A friend of mine went to China and bought around 100 blue ray disks AND a rip off player that could burn blue rays too for less than $50 U.S. Dollers! If companies would cut costs and pass on some of that savings to consumers, then PPL would be less likely to buy fake goods. I know that if an individual can make all those fakes, sell a fake brand name player for less than $50, and still make a profit then the corperations can do it too. I guess you have not very familiar with the Chinese? We tend to say which part we are from almost all the time when introducing to each other (except in English, you would only know about Hong Kong Chinese and Taiwan). For example, my landlord used to tell me don't date Shanghai Chinese girl.

China always has this type of conversation. Similar to how you would know a person is from Manchester or London

Our finance system is different. Our education system is different. Our political system is different. Our "core value" of being from Hong Kong is different from China's.
