One other critique: I couldn't imagine holding the motion controller and the dualshock at the same time being comfortable. I'm sorry, but it lacks a certian....finesse the Wiimote/Nunchuck combo has. It just feels right.

@noamize PS Move is definitely safer and more fun than Kinect (Natal), but there is no comparing the eye toy with it. The eye toy is a poorly made camera: terrible quality and actually sucks balls as a camera. It does the job detecting the glowin ball, but useless for anything else.

we get RE5 with motion control that means that sony has become the first company to use motion control in a high def game. they said that they wanted more "gamer games" and RE5 is one. i cant se natal playing any game because it lags so bad and is not one to one. natal would be good for changing channels and stuff like that not for games. sony made that mistake with the eye but microsoft has the american market behind it so it will sell

I'm interested to see what happens with this controller, but I will say two things in favor/clarifying misconceptions of Natal:

1. As much as someone can compare Natal to the Eyetoy, it's not the same device with an Xbox label. Natal reads the entire room and the people who scan as players and then reacts to that. Eyetoy only creates hotspots which are read by motion sensed in the tv "mirror." However, this controller has proven to fill the need for depth perception (cont.)

2. No one has mentioned an obvious upside to Natal in terms of online play: No headset required! With seperate voice recognition, you can talk while you listen to your friends in surround sound rather than on some dinky headphone.

Even the most devoted PS3 player should admit Sony needs to work on something like this. I mean, Nintendo has one of these things out now. They probably are.

first off you can us the eye as a mic online. and thats called video conferenceing and that why they mad eye toy in the firts place and you can play game with ps eye mic as the input and you tv as the out. & really what part of this don't you understand. both are 3D cams and natal has an extra web cam . the software is was is different but natal is doing eye toy stuff while sony took a step forward with the arc witch was in productio before wii came out

yeah there is no way in hell natal reads a room. OMG its the same as ps eye you have to be in a certain distance to use it. it even in the videos
