  • this aint a deleted scene it's a part of the extended triolgi

  • hilarious to watch with transcribted audio on.

  • bad queletie

  • This isn't even 240p... it's like 99p

  • this is cool

  • hey this was the car scene where there was sopose to be a car right at the top right corner

  • @666johnjohn poor quality makes it hard to see.. u can see the dust

  • we havent got extended :( and i really love lotr

  • I think there is a group of people how brows youtube & this like videos randomly!

  • niace video but you need to work on the graphics

  • which song the elves sing?

  • @Klarbos A Elbereth Gilthoniel.

  • @FleetingVoid Thank you very much! :)

  • how about you cut the first 2 minutes. Go straight to the deleted scene.

  • I got the extended edition of the two tower on dvd :)

  • I've never seen that deleted scene before but it's good. Could have been a bit longer but still brilliant one of my b:)st films

  • I want the extended edition SOOO BADDD!!

  • how come Pippin isn't with Frodo and Sam when they were traveling?

  • @jesseabrown1993 because they only met up with Merry and Pippin when Sam and Frodo were crossing a Farmer's lands and Merry and Pippin was stealing from the Farmer and bumped into Sam and Frodo

  • @tearsofvenus Not in the book...In the book Pippin was with Frodo and Sam when they started their journey and they met Merry later on and they were welcomed into the farmer Maggot's home and he took them to the river too.

  • @jesseabrown1993 well this IS the moviee.. there are some things that they did differently than what was written in the book.. =/

  • In the lord of the rings movie the fellowship of the ring that I have this part is in it!

  • AAAAHHHAAAA! Smeagol was right! The fat hobbit does have midnight snacks!

  • Man that scene was wonderful! I wish that would have been in the first movie! Love it!

  • why would they want to delete all these scene??

  • dude, what are they, gypsies?

  • @blkwhtrbbtX

    No....

  • Does anyone know what they're chanting?

  • "A Elbereth gilthoniel, Silivren penna miriel O menel aglar elenath Na-chaered palan-diriel O galadhremmin ennorath Fanuilos, le linnathon, Nef aer, si nef aeron! " / "Ah, Elbereth Star-Kindler, (White) glittering slants down sparkling like jewels, from (the) firmament (the) glory of (the) star-host! To-remote distance for-having gazed, from the (the) tree-tangled Middle lands, Fanuilos, to thee I will chant On this side of the ocean, here on this side of the Great Ocean!" They call to Varda
  • God, I still LOVE this movie. And I just realised I still WILL love it in the future. This movie will never get old. A TRUE MASTERPIECE.

  • Is this song available anywhere? I must have this elven chanting!!!

  • you have to wonder: What would've happened if Legolas had gone with these of his kindred and left middle earth? Man, that would've been so different!

  • "If anyone catches you, you're screwed. If you put on that thing, you're screwed. Good luck, bye!"

  • i know with all the deleted footage the movies would have been longer than they are, but i really wish they would have just kept it all. lotr is my fav movies of all time. i mean, Titanic was hella long, so why not?

  • in the book frodo, sam and pippin actually meet with the elves, and the leader, Gildor and joins them, and they give them food and shelter. And frodo is the only one who understands a little of the elves language.

  • lol they switch position! !

  • were there any deleted scenes released that weren't in the extended editions?

  • i think all the deleted scenes are in the extended versions, there just like taken out and done nothing with them, but the extended versions have all of the scenes they shot, the extended versions are so much fucking better, you get so much more info out of them than the normal ones

  • @Bjiysus666

Obviously not all of the deleted scenes are on the extended editions, for example (if you had watched all the appendices on said DVD's) sometimes they would film a scene they KNEW they weren't going to use in the movie, they just had nothing to film because it was raining (for example). So if they included everything they filmed then there would be over 50 hours of footage on all the DVD's.

  • @Ilovefeet616 dude.. 50 hours of The Lord Of The Rings sounds... Fucking AWESOMEE!! haha. thanks for commenting dude :D

  • @Bjiysus666

Indeed it does, not when it's totally unedited though. Basically they just filmed it, took one look and thought "when the fuck are we going to use that?"

  • @Ilovefeet616 they should just use it all haha, but like i said, the extended versions make EVERYTHING more clear!!

    like how does isildur die??

in the normal version, they get ambushed, he gets shot in the back and floats down a river.

in the extended version, they get ambushed, he falls to the ground, looks around.. then puts the ring on, walks away from the fight and jumps into the river, then the ring falls off his finger, and then the orcs see him, and shoot him.. IT'S MORE CLEAR!!

  • This IS my favourite scene of the whole entire first film...so dark an haunting....a dark shadow of things to come....

  • im sure its not what PJ intended but when Frodo says "wood elves" he really thinks they are wood elves but when he actually sees them he knows they are High Elves. Frodo knows well enough. that's how im gona think of it anyway. makes me feel better

  • @akroliko well frodo actually said "woodelves" before he saw them.

  • they souldn't have taken this out, i dunno why but they shouldn't have.....

  • Because after they had cut the film done it was way too long to be released. So they had to cut many scenes that wasnt essential to the storytelling. Only the elves in this video though. The first part was is it

  • is there a way to get a full version of the song that the elves are singing?

  • type in: passing of the elves on here

  • This is a strange scene - the Hobbits met "High-Elves" (Amanyar, which is why they glow) led by Gildor in the book, and Amanyar are shown in this scene, so why did PJ have Frodo say "Wood-Elves"? Frodo would not confuse the two.

  • its in the extended version

  • Can someone please answer these questions for me: what is the grey havens? where did frodo and gandalf go at the end of movie 3 and why did legolas and gimli go to the undying lands?

  • 1. Grey Havens - the elvish port in the north western part of the Shire, that's where Elves take ships to leave Middle-earth.

  • 2.Frodo and Gandalf left with Bilbo, Elrond and Galadriel (Celeborn in the movie but not "yet" in the book) and Cirdan to go to the Undying Lands. It is a land somewhere in the western sea near Elven home. It is said that Frodo and Bilbo were brought there for healing since they can no longer find peace and comfort in Middle-earth after becoming Ring-bearers.

  • It's the land of the Valar, eg the gods of the world.

  • 3. Legolas and Gimli went there after Aragorn's death. They built and boarded a grey-ship in Ithilien en route to the western sea. Legolas was allowed to go there since he's an elf while Gimli may have been granted access because Galadriel obtained that grace for him.

  • was this in the simarilian where did you get this info

  • Yes, The Silmarillion basically, But the other stories regarding what happened to the other surviving members of the Fellowship of the Ring can be found on the appendices of The Return of the King

  • sweet im going to reed that

  • legolas and gimili went to the undiying lands shortly after aragon was crowned king

  • LOL Frodo should have just said- "Just shut your eyes, and shut up." LOL

  • @SuperKBros

That is what i thought he was going to say ^-^

  • elves<men

  • Hi guys i have a quick question, With all the wood elves gone by the last movie Does that mean there is no elves left in Middle Earth?

  • well Legolas was still there, and Arwen,

who is now mortal. about some 100 years after Aragorn was crowned

as King Elessar he died, and Arwen

died shortly after, i dont know about

    Legolas.

  • Legolas brought his people to Ithilien and made it one of the fairest places again. After Aragorn died, Legolas then followed his greatest desire and built a grey ship in which he and Gimli sailed off to Valinor

  • is Valinor the Undying Lands, yes i couldve sworn reading the timelines

and appendices in Return of the King,

where Legolas and Gimli sail to the

    Undying Lands and stuff.

  • Legolas and Gimli supposeably build a boat and go to the grey havens

  • Legolas built a ship and sailed away with Gimli.

  • yes there all gone

  • i did not know about this, I will get the extended version too.

    well done!

  • coolwchip

  • lol

  • it's in the extended version not in theatrical

  • well andurhil you must of bought a pireate version off a friend who burned the full movie onto a disk because this scene is not in the actual movie

  • ya guys.. this is NOT a deleted scene, i dont have the extended version at home, but this scene is on it

  • the first bit is in the normal movie but not the part about the elves

  • I love the lord of the rings extended..

It has much more stuff in it.

  • i'm gonna buy the extended

  • @razielrocks because it is extended....

  • @3dwinsvcksballz I know this information you have givin me

  • @razielrocks :)

  • in the cartoon they looked like green Gargoyles with leafs for cloths and blond hair lol

  • They looked like scary piles of dead leafs with EYES in the cartoon! That art scared me half to death!

  • i love the elvish singing, its just sooo beautiful

  • sry guys, im not trying to be smart. but i have collection of LOTR at home and its not deleted scene on my cd's

  • it's in the extended but not in the original release

  • hmm.. in the FOTR book, they find wood elves BUT Pippin was also with them. that annouys me, that Pippin wasnt there. :) im glad they atleast filmed this scene, but dissapointed that they took it out.

  • they didnt even make some scenes from the book

  • time constrictions.."sigh"...its gay..

  • and they left out parts like , gimli falling in love with galadriel and saruman dieing. notice he never dies in the original version movies

  • Saruman is left powerless on his tower, that's what we know in the non-extended version

  • Thats not a deleted scene,I remember that from the Fellowship of the Ring VHS

  • I don't see why they would have deleted any of the scenes? I mean, let's be honest. All three of the Lord of the Rings movies were somewhat brief and could have stood to have a few additional scenes included. Especially the last one, right? I mean, I didn't think that I was going to have to wait any longer than additional 30 minutes for the last one to conclude, after the last fight scene. Giggle.

  • the singing of the elves is so beautiful...is there any way i can get the song??

  • omg whats the name of the song at 0:06?.

  • SUPER

  • They look creepy... like ghosts. Eerily beatiful.

  • faat sam XD

  • this is something i REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND

why did the elves leave middle earth?:(

    somebody explain

    PLEASE

    im feeling frustrated haha

  • It's a bit complicated. Basicly, they're moving west to a country across the sea, from which they came, where they will live with the Gods of Arda (world of Middle Earth).

If you want to know more about that, you should read the Silmarilion, a book about the history preceding the Lord of the Rings.

  • thanks dude...

so its something like...leaving america by boat and moving to europe?

    but ill get that book

    ta

  • no its like leaving the middleast and coming to america. there leaving war torn middle earth and once they leave they cant come back.

  • Because there lives where coming to an end in middle earh and they had to leave to the undying lands so the dont extinct!!

  • they'r immortal on their own ground not in middleearth thats why they leave to stay immortal

  • and that is y the elves r selfish :D

We need thier help, and they just *** off...

    lol

  • the singing of the elves is unbelievably beautiful!!

  • there are no "deleted" scenes its just a special edition of the movies.

i got all 3 the special editions and its very good <3

  • There are deleted scenes. They were never included in either the theatrical or special edition releases, mostly because they were deemed unimportant to the story

  • hmm i probaly missed this bit in the extended edition cus i watched the first part of the trilogy in HD so much it a pity i dont have the HD trilogy extended edition cus HD rocks

like the scene with all the uruk hai at helmsdeep if u watch it in HD u almost can c every uruk standing HD freaking rocks especially in the lord of the rings=my fav story/movie/book ever

  • i love sasuages abd bacon!!!!! hehehehehahahahaha

  • This is not a 'deleted' scene. It was just kept for the Release of an Extended Version. Which was A smart marketing scheme. lol

  • You know, it makes me sad that the elves are leaving in the lord of the rings books. The elves are my favorite race in this. In the book, (even if I haven't finished the first) they get help from wandering high elves.

  • oh, i LOVE the woodelves-scene, why did they cut it out?! <3

  • Norsk eg og! Og stor Tolkien fan :D

  • hmm, cool. but I guess something had to go.

  • BUY THE EXTENDED DVDs THEY ARE JUST AWESOME

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!! TOGETHER WITH THEY ARE THE HOLLY GRAIL FOR ALL OF US TOLKIEN FANS OUT THERE...namarae ;)

  • man this would be like an amazing yet dangerous adventure of a lifetime experience!

  • its only the sausages till the sleeping thats cut

  • that would be gildor then

  • what??

  • Wow, I never see it before, great

  • It's an extended part, the whole scene wasn't deleted.

  • this is not delted scne u liar

  • It is you doofus

  • It's from the extended version of the movie

  • at 1:41 when frodo says bilbo it sounds like dildo lol

  • I like the books and films thanks for this

  • I only have The Two Towers - Extended version. I've got The Fellowship and The Return Of The King too, but the short versions :(

However I will get them all, LOTR is the best film ever!!!!!!!!

  • ya ur right they are the best films ever!!!

  • theres nothing better then these films. My personal favorite is tied between the return of the king and two towers. I NEED to get the extended addition I feel like a loser for not having them! lol, i love fantasy stories, this is the BEST

  • Believe me, they are a must-have. As soon as the theatrical versions came out on DVD, I ran to the store and bought them, but I waited until all three EE had come out to buy them, so I could buy them in a boxed set. To this day, I can't go back and watch the theatrical version. I've gotten so used to the EE. Definitely go out and get them, they're well worth it.

  • If you have the extended editions, this isn't a deleted scene, but it is in the normal DVD...

  • The scene from 3:28 is one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen in my life. It gives me shivers just looking at it.

  • Oh, I know. It's so ethereal-looking, and in a way, almost eerie. It's so gorgeous.

  • euh.. nub means noob -.-

  • the agents of the dark lord...mr anderson...

  • dude that's hilarious it took me like 5 seconds to get but i'm still laughing

  • nub?

  • I've been dreaming about hearing the voice of the elves and now I understand how beautiful it can be...

  • I love all of the lord of the rings movies:) the third one is the best out of them all:)

  • Isn't this in the extended edition?

  • yes its beautiful:D

  • Aren't they the group of Elves in the beginning of the book. With Gildor?

  • yeah, except in the book the Elvish song literally saved Frodo from a Nazgul.

  • the singing of the elves is unbelievably beautiful!!

  • I can't lay my finger on it but the story of the elves leaving middle-earth makes me quite sad. I guess PJ could not express it in the movies though except by having Sam say that line.

  • isnt that arwen and all the other elves or is it sort of a ritual - the same journey made before, i diddnt know if it was a profocy or something. (i only have the 2nd and 3rd extended edition)

  • No, it's another group of elves leaving.

  • Why did they delete this beautiful elve scene? :(

  • because the movie was too long!

  • that's so neat I wsih I had the extended version

  • i do! i have all of them! :)

  • ah cool. At walmart they were 20 dollars.. so I passed. It's probably worth it though, huh?

  • it's totally worth yo buy. with extended scenes, the movie becomes greater and greater. almost perfect!

  • $20? That's a bargain for the Extended Edition! When they were first released they were about $40 to $50 each.

  • wow. well, $20 each, makes $60 total, that is a lot to spend on movies for someone like me :)

  • Well, it is a lot, but what you're getting makes it well worth it, actually. These EEs truly are treasures for avid fans like myself.

  • Aah, maybe when my next pay check comes :)

btw, how much longer are the EEs from the theatrical versions?

  • somewhere between 15 and 30 minutes thats a LOT!

  • this wasn't deleted its just in the extended version

  • not deleted X| or i havve the long edition

  • dude, it's like watching a remake of the movie, I'll sue these bastards for extortion, why not putting it in the original movie? fuck this

  • I made that scene

  • this wasnt deleted

  • the part with the wood elves, yes it was

  • i watched it the other day n this was in it, maybe it was the extended version.

  • hmm, as far as i'm concidered the part with the wood elves wasn't in the normal version, but i might wanna check it agian :)

  • Roflmao!!! ok bud, people gave you alot of thumbs down for this comment, probably cause they see it as inappropriate, but hey, I cracked up when I see it hahahahah good one bud. Take care

  • ok call me crazy but i still dont understand why Frodo must leave middle earth. can someone explain??

  • The reason that frodo and bilbo leave middle earth is to rid the earth of the last ring bearers, ei frodo bilbo gandalf, galadriel and elrond, they dont have the ring anymore but it passed through there hand so they have to leave

  • Interestingly, and little known among the public is that Sam had to leave middle earth after Rosie died because he was a ring bearer. When Frodo was captured by Shelob, Sam beared the ring for several hours, thus rendering him a ring bearer.
