The only oil from the Middle East that comes into this country comes from Saudi Arabia and that's only like 5 to 10 percent of our imported oil you idiots. Some actually believe it'll have a positive effect. But there's no difference, economically, from a $700B war and a $700B stimulus check... just a transfer of wealth away from the economy. The average American spends way more than what is in their budget. These are not necessities but wants and flashy rims. Tons of people made money while the Bush admin. was in office. TONS. Although I don't agree with the admin's economic policies, Greenspan is the frickin man and I would happily entrust my money to the man any day.

Alan USED to be worth a crap back in 64' when he was dead set against removing the Fed Reserve and warned as MANY others have about how it would enslave the people... then where did he end up? Running the show. He himself couldn't resist the temptation of power so much so that he abandoned his "Libertarian" views to help enslave us.

What is this "ambition" fetish, that's based simply on making money? As if I want to devote my life to money. Some of us have higher priorities than amassing huge piles of bank notes. There ARE more important things.
So if the worker supply evaporates due to pathological entreprenuerism, who's going to do the suddenly expensive work for all those tiny new co's? Owners would themselves be working far below scale, and again the big Co's would eat them up or starve them out.

The same uber rich who lowered taxes for you and me, improved the stock market that your and my retirement is invested in, and improved the profitability of my business. Did they make more money than us? Certainly. Are we harmed by it? Not at all. Another person's gain is not our loss. It's not a zero sum game.

Sorry- that's nonsense. The rich did not lower my taxes; they raised them by lowering their own. And it's not equitable, either. Who's going to work for you and them if everyone owns a business? Some people just want a decent job, but that's extinct now, because they've killed the unions. My retirement is in Social Security, which they want to destroy.

If people go out on their own, the supply of workers goes down, and employers will have to raise the wages to get the back. Until people are willing to do that, there's no reason to give higher wages.

Then they should either (A) go out there and create it for themselves, or (B) pay the price for their own lack of ambition. If Bill Porter can succeed, anyone can.

As the pawns (solders) are sent off to die while the kings ride their knights off into glory and continue to build their castles or rooks to enslave us.
