the only manga ive ever seen CLAMP do through well and successfully (and my first CLAMP manga to finish) was magic knight rayearth, which is a classic for a reason <3. this came to be a super huge surprise to me. watanuki? becoming lowed down and serious? that doesn't sound like the spazz i to love! i can understand maturity in the character but that's just dumb making him so OOC ;I. ill watch the rest of the anime's anyways...

大人 means a mature person. And the word 大人 made into an adjective means 'gentle/quiet'. Do you see the connection? The manga ending pisses me off. CLAMP, finish the story. You better stick to your word. (They didn't finish x/1999 or Tsubasa that great either.. but for xxxHOLIC.... they HAVE to continue it. It's their best manga, IMO. :/)

Why are your endings so depressing? Why the bloody Nora can't we get at least SOME semblance of at least a partial "happily ever after"? You know, just for the hell of it?

With this out of the way, I definetely agree both that it's their best manga and that they need to give it a proper ending.

The last chapter was just cheap.

Watched it, amazing, i felt really sad for Watanuki and the fact that his personality changed so much. Its just like what breathlessloveless said before me, he's just a shell of what he used to be. Sure he doesnt spaz out at Doumeki anymore but it was really surprising taking the somewhat subtle dislike toward him, also he's become more laid back then before, an almost 180 turn from his previous attitude.

I found this OVA so heartbreaking. Although I found Watanuki's crazy breakouts annoying some times, the fact that his personality had broken down so much was just so sad. It was like Watanuki had died and there was just this shell trying to encapsulate Yuuko-san because that was the right thing to do for everyone else. He gave up his love for the girl and any chance of interaction with the outside world to stay in the shop. Though nothing explicitly sad happened, I cried like a baby.

I don't watch Tsubasa Chronicle, so it's more difficult for me to understand the whole thing... and there is something I wanted to know...

xxxholic oad is actually coming around July 8 or some time after they are also still deciding to dub kei shunimuki i think that what it was called and oad but its a unsure thing right now

The OAD coming out July 8 is a completely different thing from Rou...fans are speculating that it's not going to be xxxHolic related per se, but rather Horitsuba (which would be awesome too)

I heard something about Funimation dubbing all of Tsubasa's OADs (Tokyo Revelations and Shunraki) so it would make sense that they'd dub xxxHolic's OADs too (including Rou I'd hope)...however I don't know if that's for real or just a rumor.
