I totally agree with you, I think WESTERN UNION is the best! And I am glad to know Zane chose him for the part, because he was perfect in this part. One of his most memorable performances!

@elchoya100 I'm partial to de Mille's Union Pacific, but Western Union is certainly another super classic. Matter of taste. Randolph was great, no doubt about it. I prefer the roles he played to those of John Wayne, for instance, because Scott played "cool" characters, sane and stable, compared to Wayne's usual likable red neck. Sure Scott characters would get tough, but only with provocation. That made his characters more three dimensional and believable in a Hollywood world of killing.
