Some people are here are too rude, it is mostly for children; silly jokes mostly.

What I did not like is the scene with the crazy guy and hurt on the nose and mouth, that was not nice one bit.

The rest is ok. Travolta is a pleasure to see and his little girl.

They say his wife and him got the rotten tomato award and it is over acted by all of them cast but it is for kids; I am not a kid but I like to see them all act and see Travolta get back to feeling happier and his family too.

You can't compare critics to the general movie public. Critics have seen lots of movies and have developed a certain taste for them and are actually able to.. you know, critisize them. Most of the general movie public is dumb and ignorant and isn't critical enough.

I know a lot of morons are always saying: "fuck the critics!! they just have a stick up their ass!!"

But that's just bullshit. Critics do appreciate good and clever movies like Hot Fuzz, but not uninspired junk like Old Dogs..

yea dude critics have seen a ton of movies but critics and the general movie public are different. yea this movie is not really too original but a lot of us understand that. critics watch movies to be blown away, and see originality, the public doesn't it would be nice to see something like that but chances are not every single movie is original and creative, the general public likes to be entertained, and thats what this movie does it entertains, i went to laugh and i did the movie did its job

I don't agree. I don't think critics watch movies to be blown away. Just look at something like Kung Fu Panda. That movie is really unoriginal, but it is entertaining and the average on Rotten Tomatoes is a 7.2/10 and 89% of the critics like it. That to me prooves that they don't have to be blown away in order to give something a positive review.

I'm not a critic and Old Dogs wasn't entertaining to me AT ALL. It was forced, it was dumb and just downright annoying. I don't remember laughing once

I got to see it in Japan earlier this year and it was so long they cut it into two movies, like Kill Bill 1 & 2.

I'd be interested to see what they cut out to get it down to 2.5 hours.
