you have to play around with the values. I used a low noise lm386 d opamp gives more power I changed out diffrent resistor and cap values, Then when I found the sound I wanted I switched to low noise metal film resistors and vintage mallory high voltage capactors they just sound better and then made sure to ground everything really well to a metal case to cut down noise even further
Hi man, it is perfect sound about Ruby, do you can public your schematic for this result? is very important, the sound is many better compared original project. Thank you
Oh guy, this is fucking great! Really great sound.... Is it really Ruby? Please send me more info about this great little amp on e-mail J.kohout2006@seznam.cz . What kind of repro did you use?
So you tagged it with bassman, but did you do the bassman mods to it? I thought the mod removed the gain knob but you mention tweeking it during the video.
samick strat copy with vintage noiseless pickups celestion 8 inch cab akg 2000b mic to standard digi 001 mic preamp into protools with a lil waves reverb 8 or 10% wet

Awesome sound! Is that a Ruby circuit you're using. If so, how are you keeping the line noise so low?
Nice work!

That's great sound. What's in your sound chain, besides the half watt amp head (guitar, cab, pre, etc.)?
