IMHO, The people in LearJet's Ivory Tower screwed up big-time by discontinuing the Lear 35A. The plane is literally a flying legend. With upgraded technology in the cockpit, and the Raisbeck locker and Delta Fins, along with improved engines offering increased performance and efficiency, B/LJ would have an instant winner. (that is, of course, when the GA market recovers, as it will eventually do.
The technology is already there; all they have to do is get it certified and (re-)build the plane.
thats nice sir im 14 and im planing to be a pilot were are you from and what schools do u recommend me to go thanx cuzz im planing to go to mccreery aviation co. down in texas mcallen, texas and what do you also recommend for me to start studying as right know cheerz have good flights!!!...
Lears are an absolute blast to fly..climb out at 6000 feet per minute..little rocket ships, though not very comfy on a flight longer than a couple hours.
yea u see john travolta flying at 43,000,45,000 feet on his 707,this plane is old but fast and its a fast climber dont compare lears with 707 huge difference in performance and Economics
This is an old Lear. But a good one. Rich go see John Travolta he flys a boeing 707 now that's rich. You know what it cost to fuel a 707 compaired to a lear. You can buy a car for what it cost to fuel up a 707. A good used car.
If you ever played GTA SA. YOu'd know this track.. xD

My son flies the Air Force version of this plane, the C-21. He likes it a lot but the cockpit gets pretty tight on long cross country flights.
He's headed to the C-17 in a couple months, looking forward to being able to get up and walk around.

Ironic that this song is put to pictures of planes. A band who lost the majority of its members in a plane accident.
