I think the girl in the video is symbolic of innocence, and represents his own inner child getting lost in the chaos of his madness. The tie to Alice in Wonderland supports this, since that story is about insanity brought on by drug abuse. In the end, it is he that is hospitalized, watching his innocence become completely lost in the maze.

I just found this video by accident last night & it's fast becoming my current favorite song/ music video!!
I just LOVE how its such a creepy and tisted version of Alice in Wonderland, & yet it has the whole different element of a Labyrinth as well.
For some reason, this video also reminds a lot of All That I've Got (the music vid, anyway) by The Used.

I think I've noticed a chain kind of thing with their videos. With every video with a child or someone under 18 as the main person(people) there is some reference to a rabbit. Like this, Augen Auf! and Beim ersten mal tut's immer weh and Sandmann for example.

See I never got the impression that it was alice and wonderland. I thought it was about making decisions based on your past. Like if you ashamed of your past, you keep it a "secret." Due to the fact that you are ashamed of your past, you could be nervous about making the right desicion, "choosing the right door," and feel like you are in an mental labyrinth.
