  • what is this from?

  • @tragictravisty A documentary called 'Fierce Grace.'

    It's pretty good. Inspiring.

  • a beautiful sharing

  • When Ram Dass (Richard Alpert) has himself accepted the Guru and his blessings, any doubt in anybody's mind is of no value. One has to accept Guru cent percent to have his grace. This is what is reflected by Ram Dass in his various books & talks.

  • Good Food! Thanks Thanks Thanks Gratitude and Blessings

    Namaste

  • In his autobiography, Richard Alpert, later Ram Dass, is astonished that the guru knew what he dreamt last night. How could he have known? Here is 1 explanation that I got from Alperts own book. Alpert could easily have been talking in his sleep and the blond guy overheard his words and told the Guru the next day! If you read Alperts Be Here Now, this seems so obvious. Alpert met the blond guy on the road and he was with Alpert all night. Is this a reasonable explanation? Just read the book!

  • @godno1god It's a great explanation to a materialist. They will accept anything that explains away "supernatural" spiritual phenomena.

  • @godno1god Lol electrons can be both waves and particles, black holes rip apart spacetime, and there may be infinite alternate universes, but you can't accept clairvoyance. The Newtonian worldview has been dead for a hundred years.

  • @godno1god He did miracles all the time though, so you'll need another excuse to discredit him.

  • Welcome home ;)

  • fantastic thanks

  • I look upon miracles as the greatest stumbling-blocks in the way of truth. When the disciples of Buddha told him of a man who had performed a so-called miracle — had taken a bowl from a great height without touching it — and showed him the bowl, he took it and crushed it under his feet and told them never to build their faith on miracles, but to look for truth in everlasting principles. He taught them the true inner light. Miracles are only stumbling-blocks. --Vivekananda

  • @tobesograteful I wouldnt consider miracles a stumbling block, but a byproduct of higher states. Someone who is at such a high level should be able to do what has been told. I had a moment years ago where I was in such a deep meditation that I decided to get up and go downstairs, but when I did my body dissolved and my mind got up and the door opened, when the door opened the sound shocked me back into myself. The door had opened and still swinging as if I had turned the knob, pulled and let go.

  • I just cant understand how someone could take a large dose of LSD and have nothing happen.

  • @RobbieOtto Because they are already experiencing what the LSD would make you experience if that state of mind was normal to you. Its all about perspective. Ive smoked so much marijuana that when I smoke now, its normal, other people experience all sorts of giggles and elation etc.. I just feel normal, no different.

Its all about perspective. Either you are alive, or dead. Maharaj-ji was dead.

  • @theuppro LOL When you take a mind altering substance like LSD and a large dose at that. YOU TRIP HARD. No way around it. Specially if you have never taken it...

  • The beauty is that we are Love ~

  • touching

  • would've been funny if he ODed when he took all those pills

  • @Pr4dat0r LOL!!

  • @Pr4dat0r LSD is one of the safest drugs to take considering its fatal dosage levels, you would need to take tens of thousands of the amount of a normal dose to be fatal.

  • @theuppro mind you, a fatal dose is about a thimble full of lsd solution...

  • @Pr4dat0r actually a fatal dose has never been established and there have been people who lived after taking well over 2,000,000 doses at once.

  • @theuppro Its safe for the body but it can really fuck up your mind if you dont know what to do during a bad trip

  • @theuppro Yes it won't kill you, but it can really roast your mind if you're not careful. It's a powerful drug and must be treated accordingly.

  • Beautiful. Brings tears to my eyes. Love is the way.

  • Watching this video reminded me that a man from a rural third world country (Maharaj Ji ) knew much more than a brilliant Harvard professor.

  • @CloudshadowMan1

third world country, professor, man...a person is a person no matter what, where, when. Those labels hardly mean a thing. They should barely register.
