i have lived in southampton my whole life i am 24 and only went to netley abbey and victoria country park for the 1st time in april this year in the easter hoildays it was a really warm day we had a look around the gravy yards and had a walk around the walk way down near the gravy yards my friend got spoked really bad when a big gust of wind blow and a dark cloud came over us from no where so we headed back up to car park it was a good day out and hope to go back this summer some when
I worked at RVCP and its sister site Westwood in the early 90's. I have long moved away from the area, its fantastic to see it again. Great video and very educational :)
@lookseeitsme Hi, my husband was also an army medic, and he accompanied a solidier to the psychiatric hospital in the 70's. We visit there when we go to eastleigh to see my daughter, and he thinks its very sad to see the only part now remaining is the chapel.

Enjoyed your film. Nice to see such good use made of the grounds.
I have some very fond memories on my time as an army medic in the psychiatric hospital in the early 1970s.
