kyrgyzstan is being given a 2 billion dollar loan from russia, and a 150 million dollar aid package, I don't think the U.S has any money to offer them with this current economic situation.

If the base is important enough for US policy makers they can beat any aid offered by Russia. Can the US afford it? No. But the world permits the US to run up massive debt because the US dollar is over 70% of the world's reserve currency. No country keeps a reserve in rubles (not even Russia).

But it is changing since the world realizes that it has been robed by the FED and US government for many, many years and were part of a giant Ponzi scheme, a pyramid which is finally collapsing. As regards ruble it is also changing since the beginning of 2009 its neighbors pay Russian gas and oil with rubles. Electric power Russia delivers to its neighbors is also payed with rubles. It will take some time but ruble shall be an EuroAsian regional currency.

lol...Just because Russia can force a few weak ex-Soviet republics to pay in rubles doesn't mean they want to, or that it will become a "regional currency." The euro would do that in central asia long before the ruble. I visited Georgia, and there you can already pay in euro.

Russia has a lot of resources but it is a very closed market that offers no opportunities to small countries. Countries that want development and investment have to open up to the west.

the russian currency (and almost every other form of monetary exchange except the british pound) is actually still based on the US dollar, the russians dont have money either, if you havent noticed the russians didnt give them gold or even goods, they gave them a "Monetary loan" in other words money from thin air that it self does not have. learn about the money markets of the world and learn why the world went belly up when the US market took a dip. you need us, the WORLD needs us.

What cash? You mean US dollars? Well USA could possibly have a base in Kyrgyzstan only if Uncle Sam gets his hands on the Euro or Yen printing presses, because no one takes US dollars anymore. US dollars are toilet paper. In addition, since USA has been destabilizing the region in the last 7 years, for both China and Russia this is far more important than just a money issue. After all USA needs army in USA itself to keep its own population under control as it faces civil war. Evil always die.

There is no chauvinistic aspect to my statements I am just stating the reality. All people care about today is money. If you can pay enough you can do anything, including buy governments. And the US dollar is still the world currency. If you want to blame somebody blame the govt of Kyrgyzstan for agreeing to the US base (and accompanying bribes) in the first place.

Go look in a newspaper and you will see the dollar has been recovering in value for the last 6 months.

Kyrgyzstan has no Air Force, it does but barely. I feel that is was wrong for the U.S. military to do such shit to the Kyrgyz people, but if someone attacks Kyrgzystan for any reason, then the U.S. Military will be there to help

Yes but you forget that Kyrgyzstan has been member of CST since 1994 and CSTO since 2003. CSTO is a military block of 7 ex USSR republics, which these days is being put into function. Therefore any invasion of foreign armies, including US, on any of the CSTO countries would be regarded as an act of aggression and therefore would be subject to the nuclear revenge. Air Forces or tanks or war ships are irrelevant here but only missiles and nuclear warheads.

I doubt that USA will stay. China and Russia sent a message a couple of years ago that they do not like the growing instability in the region which, surprisingly, coincides with USA's presence there. USA will leave not only Kyrgyzstan but the whole region. After all +1 billion China, +1 billion India do not like someone standing in the way to the central Asian resources. Not after what USA done in Iraq, not after Saudi Arabia controlled by USA. Eventually any greed based system must collapse.
