man...i am way too high. weed is great when listening to music...but in moderation. i'm so high i'm questioning the very existence of my ego...among other things. also questioning all the symbols that make up our society...which makes it very hard to not find watching things like this existentially absurd. i wish i was more sober...and more human...then it would all come back. i guess i'm not ready to shed my ego. my carnal pull to the kills is bringing me back. i think. i guess. hmm. too high..

Don't know if there's a real underground scene in A'dam. There are various locations in A'dam, where often good bands are playing like the Heineken Music Hall, Paradiso and De Melkweg. They all have websites containing info about coming gigs. Paradiso is the most pleasant place for a nice show.
If you are in Holland in August, go check The Ettes in Paradiso Amsterdam.
I discovered them last week on a local alternative radio station. Especially 'Dead and Gone' and 'Crown of Age' are great tracks. You can find these on Youtube.
The Ettes had the same producer on two albums as The Kills. Thank God they don't sound the same.
