  • @21stCenturyFX same i mean look at the noobs in the related videos

  • you're the best scooby :)

  • i dont have a workout buddy. however, i could watch this while i lift weights. feels like im working out with somebody

  • @TlalocChak Exactly what i do

  • Shut the F Up! LOL

  • hi scoop ...fan from the middle east here ...do you do all workouts at home ..or you still need the gym ..cuz i can't see how you would be able to do squats at home (safely).. could you do a lower body workout here plz .

    love ,

  • @scooby1961, hey scooby do you do all your workouts from home? you dont go to the gyms?

  • Hi Scooby any good exercise for chicken legs ?

  • I use the exact same dumbells and weight for my flies. :D HOW DELIGHTFUL!

  • I wish you were my uncle, I'd pump iron with you every day whilst conversing about philosophy. Such subjects would likely include Bruce Lee.

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH !

  • Thanks, Scooby. Great workout.

  • I'm burnt after this warm-up :(

  • This guy deserves a noble award in fitness. Dead serious

  • serious indeed!

  • who the hell else dedicates their time to this...for FREE? scooby thank you

  • @DeadTelevision Well, he does making money doing this. He's a Youtube partner so he makes money on his videos, also, I believe he's sponsored and I guess he makes money from the stuff he sells on his website

  • @Arhtass I'm sure he makes something, but he sells a couple of mugs and tshirts on his site, and I seriously doubt he makes much more than is required to cover his costs, even with with the YT partnership stuff. What do you mean by sponsored?

  • @NowKillTheKing Well, I don't know whether or not Scooby takes part in tournaments or stuff like that, but some bodybuilders are sponsored. Some probably get paid for using particular equipment and so on. I don't think Scooby does that, though. I also just noticed there are ads on his webpage, which probably means he has an adsense account and makes money off visitors

  • WOW! To think of all the time I've wasted stretching before my workouts :-O

  • please let us know when you broke your aquarium

  • Thank you so much! You have seriously helped me out immensely ! Would love a leg workout video. Not to be greedy ;) Thank you again !

  • do you do decline bench press?

  • @djule988 All decline bench press gives you is bitch tits.. Don't be happy that you can bench 2000 fuckin pounds on decline.. The shit is easier than flat bench. It hurts more than it helps IMO

  • @Cunkdoat Chill, I'm just asking....not according to Dorian Yates, he says that decline is better than flat bench :P

  • @djule988 I was chill... But if you want bitch tits, stick to decline! But hey its just advice... You can do whateva the FUCK you wanna do!

  • no offense but you cant count lol

  • 30:10 to start

  • sounds like dr.phil lol..

  • why when pressing with barbell you can use way more weight than with dumbbells?

  • Scooby is actually superman... in disguise!

  • Hey, Scooby. When is the best time to workout? Like in the morning, afternoon, night. Or does it not matter? Thanks.

  • @Niho10BiH Whenever feels best for you

  • @gilgallad9 Thanks!

  • @Niho10BiH

The best time to train is when you have time to train.

  • @Michel0555 Thanks!

  • what do you think about doing the fly s on a medicine ball?

  • man I freaked out at like 50 minutes when you turned into a zombie via video glitching lol.

  • Scooby, you remind me of an older me

  • Thank you for all you do! You inspire me to workout

  • Comment removed

  • why so many reps? only 3

  • other than that funny scream-into-a-cushion routine, i cannot visualize u being genuinely angry about something.

  • i bet 80%+ just watched the video instead of working out alot and im one of them :)

  • whats ur job r u a personal trainer or someting

  • @bigsalrulz he's an engineer

  • chicken legs

  • I think your elbows were clicking during your pushups - is that ok or is this a sign of to much stress on your joints ? I hear this sometimes in my knees and elbows while working out

  • 30 minutes of watching a timer on an Ipod great start my fatass could have been working out but i was curious of if something was going to happen

  • Turn on audio transcribe xD

  • scooby, would half an hour of intense working out at night with five minute breaks help me to start seeing results?

  • Scooby is the king of utube he is a great guy :)

  • What is with your door?

  • Anybody know why scooby uses such long rest periods? 3mins seems like a long time.

  • @RiffCantrell Just for your body to become rested enough to fully complete each set.

  • Shouldn´t you put a towel on the carpet before working out? Great video, btw.

  • @nevhaynes but then the carpet won't get moisturized and won't be as good of a breeding ground for germs

  • Cool workout, I enjoyed it alot. Can't wait for the next ones.

  • that rug must be gross with all that sweat.

  • The way your raise your voice when you workout makes me laugh while I work out!

  • I agree with Scoob. The straighter your arms are, the more unnecessary strain and stress on the biceps and shoulders. This really can injure you badly if you are doing a heavy enough weight. I always use the 90 degree rule. 0 degrees at the top 90 degrees at the bottom. Always gives me a good pump and keeps the stress on the chest where it is supposed to be.

  • @robsetser he never said straighter=unnecessary strain. He said LOCKED AREMS is bad. Straighter equals more workout, more angle equals less pressure and is like having a spotter. ... Listen from 47:50 to 49:10

Scooby showed a straight arm as bad, but the optimal as start around 10 degrees bend, with 90 degrees being a BAD idea...unless you are using it as a cheat to do more reps.

  • Those encyclopedias are probably like..."man, of all the places I could have ended up, why the hell did I have to end up at Scooby's house?" On another note, this is probably the most used set of encyclopedias on the planet.

  • poor Encyclopedias :)

  • that was really cool and i really appreciate you uploading this, since i couldn't connect to the live broadcast^^.

tomorrow i'll try the back workout :)

  • Wow. It's good to see someone use books as a workout equipment. I use books as a bench sometimes. :)

  • what's up with the hat?

  • Geez this guys a monster, he's 50 and that big?!? Haha do a bicep routine

  • scooby.. do you think that pushups should be done on the knuckles or is it okay to do it on your palms?

  • @arappx he always says to do them with your knuckles because of your wrist. to avoid joints problems..

  • please guide how to have big well defined chest- mention routines

  • thanks for this video. Worked out great !

  • never touched steroids and have stretch marks in the crease of my shouler and pecks. just got naturally big in a short amount of time.

  • @ronnierud Acually that has happend to me when I trained really good and made nice gains :)

  • ya gotta love this guy! hes so damn nutty! hahhahahahahahah

  • You like at 42 mins!

  • When are you going to do a THIGH workout?

  • Scooby. How much money have you spent on alk those weights you have on that rack in the reflection of the mirror?

  • @skaterboy520c I remember him saying he hasn't bought anything new. Garage sales etc, so probably not a lot.

  • just did this workout, not with the video, but the same workout. it worked well, i got a good pump, i liked it, might just do it again next week

  • Scooby why are you in your underwear? Kinda creepy. LOL

  • @nepatriots77 hes in shorts

  • I AM THE FIRST VIEWER!

  • I'm too shy for gym. Thanx to u I can exercise at home. thank u so much!!!

  • Aren't you limiting range of motion by doing this on the floor? Your elbows should be brought back a little more, no? Also I've always been taught that a weight which yields 8-10 reps is what you should be doing. In other words # of reps is important!!! Unless your doing some type of mass building or power lifting routine, 3-4 reps is too much weight!! Do more food prep videos!!!

  • @videodude123XYZ HE's made a video explaining why he's on the floor. He's on the floor when he does this because he doesn't want to damage his shoulder. You dont get any more benefits from being on a bench then on the floor. Low reps will build mass gain, and higher reps like 8-10 or 10-15 will tone your muscle. Hope i helped answer your question.

  • @posada37

you have no idea what you are talking about. Low reps are more neural activation and are better for building strength, higher reps (6-15) are better for hypertrophy (building mass). And if you are benching if you want the the most muscle activation and to do the lift correctly you need to be on a bench to get the full range of motion.

  • @Nikilwig The low reps are able to build muscle owing to the high volume. And sure, the ROM is more on a bench, but the floor is a good option if you don't own a bench. Plus, the floor helps you reduce the risk of injury.

  • @Kalvinfredericks ----oh jeese ---nooooooo even if yo have a bench its better on the floor , it keeps you stable ,,saves your shoulders ,,keeps you from cheating ,,therefore ,,you can add more weight! get to yr goals quiker ,add muscle and get stronger quicker

  • @Nikilwig lmao are you pretending to play Mr.know it all, because you clearly don't know anything. Out of all the magazines, youtube videos, and books i have watched and read, all of them had said to build strength and mass use lower reps with heavier weight. But ok youtube kid you can pretend you're right.

  • Holy shit, scoob. You're asking for a smashed toe with that set up.

  • I have the rug, small world

  • @ziskan1013

    lol

  • I hate when I am occasionally killed.

  • 41:24 after taken shit.

    WTF

  • 58:38 "I lost track, that was maybe 7 or 8".. hehe more like 6 and 3 :P

  • That carpet is def. persian :) Aint that right?

  • Six-Pack Shortcuts created 16 Youtube accounts and clicked dislike!

  • Thank you Scooby, cause I never stretch.

  • i watched the first 30 minutes.

  • @andrew30133 I see what you did there.

  • 30:00 if u don`t wanna waste ur time

  • somebody call the doctor this guy is SICK !!!!!!!!! he is lifting 48 kg,i lift 10 kg :((((

  • Hello Hans!

  • 32:51 scoob looks naked :D:D

  • @Georgie2500 BRO u can edit them urself with one click 11111111 Click

  • @Infinitypoe yeah that is obv the solution. Scooby should have 30 mins dead in every video since it is so easy to just click past it

  • @itsRapBoy i have asked myself that question many times, but to be honest, by the looks of it, i assume ( maybe I'm wrong) but assume that he juiced, and was training intensely at a gym, i just find it really hard for someone to gain that much mass, even over the amount of his years to obtain that much mass, i think his workouts are focused for people who don't go to the gym religiously, but want to do some at home, so for that his vids are great, but i believe he was a gym monkey before.

  • how often during the week would you do this chest-only workout?

  • @edpascasio IMO - once/week

  • did you get your chest that big over the years by doing chest workouts like the one you did live?

  • I wonder what the people that disliked it actually disliked.

  • @chainoad My guess is, being fat :)

  • MFW 50% of his weight is more than my max 1 rep

  • Scoopy, how the one knows what type of workout to follow?

  • Thx for loading this up. In Germany, the livestream didn't work, so I'm glad I could watch it now. It's helpful, to see you doing a whole workout! I do almost equal chest workout, mainly flies and press and then superset of them both together, this is killing you at the end!! :-D

  • scooby you are the besT!

  • i go to the gym to workout, not a room in my house.

  • @Holtii14 good for you!

  • @charlotte1222 this is terrible tho

  • your 50% weight of your 8 rep weight is 200% of my 1 rep weight lol

  • use a towel #hygiene

  • Love the video, very helpful!

..but I had to turn the volume down at around the 42:33 mark in case the neighbours got the wrong idea lol

  • Wehe´s the LIVE-BACk-WORKOUT that is supposed to run NOW?! Don´t find it

  • Bars are not 5 pounds each... 1 lb at max

  • @Cunkdoat He said the were 5 lbs together and yeah, a typical dumbell bar is 2lbs so hes right... Whay do so many people nit-pick at eveything scooby does/says? Jesus I dont know why Scooby offers this info for free when everyone wants to act like they know it all already - If thats the case, you shouldnt even be here.

  • @MyMrBoots he said 105 lbs.... thats 52.5 lbs each = 2 x 25lbs + 2.5lbs X 2 bars.

  • @Cunkdoat You sound like a typical 16yr old fool - thinking that you know better than someone who has been bodybuilding for over 25 yrs. Well, now you can prove it = post pics or a workout vid and we can see if your all talk or not. Just msg me when its ready if your better than Scooby im sure ill learn plenty

  • @MyMrBoots Ok I will definitely do that when I get the chance.. Thing is, I can't do it off of my phone. I will Have to somehow borrow my brothers Video Camera, and record myself in the gym (Awkward) if you want. After all of this, I will still have to find out how to upload it to youtube. Scooby obviously knows more about the sport of bodybuilding than me, but I can guarantee I can get a workout of more intensity at the gym than he can at home. I will show you.

  • @MyMrBoots BTW I have a joke video on my page of when I had just turned 16, this was 6 months ago when I was doing home workouts. I am much bigger now, but you can still tell I have muscle in the vid. It is titled "Very buff 16 year old"... Again it is a joke, so before you start criticizing me for it, just realize I was messing around. P.S. my name is not phillip, nor am I the buffest 16 year old in America

  • Hey Scooby! Just wondering about you cartilage. Do your joints ever hurt, or anything?

  • He substituted his own children and kids with a turtle fish and HANZ ... I DONT BELIEVE IT COULD BE PEOPLE LIKE THIS .

  • watching workout count as working out? I hope so

  • Can you not put shorts on? Flamer...

  • Whats with the hat?

  • Wow your body looks like a 70's Mr. Olympia at the very end.

  • did the back workout already start?

  • long live king scooby!

    es lebe der könig!

  • 1:01:29 epic fail! xD

  • scooby should stream all his workouts everyday live. THUMBS UP SO HE CAN SEE THIS!

  • @soldierside365 *keen

  • @AliBoulalaSTP His site says hes a keep triathlete, so im making assumption that a majority of his legs come from running and cycling? Since more mass is aerobicly less efficient, i think the bike is legs enough for someone that is doing an ironman this year lol

  • sounds like hes vacuuming

  • you are a model for uss :)

  • wheres the back workout?

  • you are a giant

  • Do you heva an official facebook page ?

  • is 3 minutes too long rest?

  • I wonder if he read all those books xD

  • whos flying jets in there scoobs

  • why not edit out the first 30 minutes of nothing?

  • @Georgie2500 I think is was from a live stream

  • @Georgie2500 Can you edit a livestream?:O

  • @Georgie2500 the video added itself alone mate.

  • @Georgie2500 He probably has better things to do, uploading the video takes time itself, it takes you approximately half a second to use your mouse to skip the first 30 minutes yourself.

  • @Georgie2500 it was a live recording dufuss, he would have to recode and reload the whole video which im sure he'll do at some stage. now shutup and stop complaining about stuff you get for free from people who put in a lot of time and effort!!

  • @1:05:04 the lunk alarm went wild!

  • 18:00 uk time i think the back training starts can any uk people confirm?

  • 1:00:00 i'm from Romania too .. and i like your videos .. you are my hero ... i lost 14 kg by doyng what you are sayng ( meals , cardio , ..) :)

  • can anyone tell me where i can find the back workout?

  • whens the live back training start? today what time uk time please

  • this is wicked! live scooby!

  • hi scooby i noticed that your elbows make a clicking sound when u're doing the push ups and i've noticed the same thing happens with me, what is the cause of this and does it mean that there is something wrong with my elbows?

  • @s88m I have the same thing with my right shoulder. I asked my PT and my doctor and both said its nothing to worry about but it was just a bump or something in the joint. If it does hurt then contact your doctor.

  • Well I got dumbbells but no floor, oh well, I guess I'll just watch.

  • @Scooby1961 i have heard people talking about rep ranges between 8 to 12 for growth but I see that you are doing much fewer. Any specific reasons for that? I am not sure if you have already answered that, if so I am sorry.
