this is a very dumb question but why do people pulloff switch 1080's? to me it seems eiser to try a regular one. i can land regular 3's and id never try a switch one.

Once you're at their level, switch and regular can feel the exact same. it just so happens that when they try the switch 3, they land it. Landing a regular 1080 should seem easier, but only Harf has been able to pull that off.

Try learning switch wakejumps, then try switch 360's. I landed the 3rd one i ever attempted, and now my switch 3s are smoother than my regular ones. It's just how you practice and perform the tricks that makes them easy.

The reason people are throwing the switch 1080 is because when they learn to do 900's they throw it switch so they are landing regular. So they are comfortable throwing big rotations switch...then they just have to rotate a little bit further at the end to nail the 1080.

@iceman9992 its cause when u take off switch, your body naturally wants to return to your regular side, so the rotation is faster, which allows you to spin more
