@neonaruto123a Well yes and no. This was unfair to start, they were pitting standard ming troops, against elites. Standard ming troops were relatively well trained, but musketeers are elite units drawn out of people trained to swordfight as soon as they can hold a sword. If this was musketeers vs the hongwu emperor's imperial guard it would have been far more fair and would have ended differently. Especially as the guard are also dedicated swordsmen with a jian rather than a dao.
