For everyone's information whether it's Greek or Roman coming from a history major.. It could be either Roman or more so Macedonian because Greece did not exist when people wore togas. People often make this mistake. Look at any map from that time and see for yourself.
For those of you who don't know about the country Macedonia, please read a history book to learn real facts and stop relying on Hollywood movies to teach you things.
I'm just wondering, what did you wear under it to keep from being too revealing?? I'm wearing it to school for senior day and don't want to flash anyone XP
@dgrusy It depends on the width of the fabric, and your height and weight. For average fabric widths (36 to 44 inches wide appx) and average height and weights, measure from your shoulder to the place you want the fabric to land, then cut accordingly. If you want it long to the floor, then appx 2 yards should be more then enough. If you want it short, then appx 1 yard. It's hard to mess this up, so you should do fine. @FiestaPancakes Hello. I believe that was a silky polyester. Just about anything can work. Wrap it around you and see how it hangs. If it feels right for you, then go for it! Thank you for commenting.

@martibuci Thanks for asking. The measurements on the short Toga are 56 inches wide by 29 inches long. This one on a size 4 girl, about 5 foot 2 inches tall. If taller, I would consider a little longer. This one barely covered everything, but shorts underneath the Toga can take care of that.. It's really easy. Good luck.
