  • Finally! A steam layout.

  • This is really good 5 STARS

  • Its a 9F 2-10-0 you have a choice of a cheap Hornby Railroad version or the more expensive Bachmann version both are good in their own way according to how much you have to spend

    thanks for watching

  • Hi, I have a 00 gauge track that I want to lay down on a board and set out nicely, but I was wondering if you can tell me what the train is called that is pulling the long line of coal freight trucks please?

  • The track is beautifully laid. I assume it is Peco. That is the area where I fall down in both model railways and model trams, my track laying is apauling. Well done.

  • There is another great store like Hattons although they are very good

Rails of Sheffield and offer similar prices. They also have a large range of used items that can proove interesting.

Anyway here is their link. Hope it is of use.

  • Realy good layout with loads happening. Well filmed and a fantastic choice of stock. Do you have any problems ordering UK rolling stock, Does it cost much more for shipping and so on?

this one gets a 5. Will look fab with more seanary and weathering

    best of luck

  • @smleonard55 No problems with a favourable rate of exchange at the moment most stock coming from Hattons of Liverpool. We also have our own local swap and bring and buy sales. Belonging to the British Railway Modellers of Australia also helps. Thanks for the kind comments and keep watching

  • Nice layout. I'm guessing there's a spiral on each end beyond the white board to allow trains to change level?
