One of the best performances I ever have seen Jerry Lee do. I swear I've seen hundreds of videos and this was fantastic. Jerry Lee Lewis is a true American original.
Thanks for posting this rare video. It's a treasure.
...what phrasing...what skill mixed w/ country madness (when he sez; "...its you...")
...being so obviously great would send you mad, i can see that now....
...surely, the sense that that you had something nobody else could touch or get anywhere near (yet which felt so natural to you) would be a burden at times...
It's much better than on the original recorded version he did wich in my opinion is bad. What i miss here though is his piano because his solo was really lovely.
When he does something like this or "Over The Rainbow", it proves how he can take any song and make it his. To repeat myself from other comments I've made about him, he belongs in the Country Music Hall of Fame as assuredly as the Rock and Roll Hall.
Enough. He is a great talent and I do like his music alot. But the guy does not walk on water. Please......

I strongly believe this man belongs to any hall imaginable.
Or perhaps he should have a hall of his own.

I thought this was Jerry Lee, not Elvis Presley. Awesome version, gotta love The Killer.
