She was cussing out the officer, saying it was all bs, refusing to show her license, registration and insurance, refusing to get out of the car AND making a cell phone call! He gave her multiple warnings and told her he would taser her if she didn't get out of the car. I would have tasered her too!

The lady was pulled over for driving 51mph in a 30mph zone, she was not wearing a seat belt, had a cracked windshield and a broken light. Back in the early 70s my dad told me and my brothers-we were all teenagers then- to make sure to always answer "Yes sir" to any police officer. Later in my punk days it saved me a lot of lumps, while I watched my loud and foulmouthed friends get bruised and battered for their verbal tirades against officers. Even though a long haired doper, caught committing a crime, I was treated pretty decently just because of a "Yes sir" or a "No sir". Never got one lump, even when armed!!!!

This video is NOT a true representation of what actually happened. The original video was over six minutes long. The lady was pulled over for driving 51mph in a 30mph zone, she was not wearing a seat belt, had a cracked windshield and a broken light. From the SECOND that the officer got out of his car, she had an attitude with him. He warned her repeatedly to get out of the car. Instead, she chose to continue her phone coversation and bitch at the cop. Not a smart choice! She deserved it.

This particular individual was extremely combative and recalcitrant, I feel the use of the tazer was warranted, and prevented him from having to physically extract her from the vehicle. Driving on a suspended license is at least a Class “A” misdemeanor, (in some situations it may be a felony with possible prison time). It is different from an ordinary traffic ticket. Thus, driving on a suspended license is a different matter. It is a criminal offense, with possible penalties of up to 364 days in jail and fines of up to $2,500. If charged as a felony, there may be 3 years in prison and fines of up to $25,000.

This is what's called propaganda, as it's blatently a edited clip, showing only the horrific pain a taser can cause. Nevertheless, she might've been resisting arrest or may've taken hours to pull over (as i saw on another video).
Don't get me wrong, I do think police mis-use tasers in rare cases, just to get rid of their fustraition lol. But i still do think tasers can be nessicary. Overall, i'm just saying, don't be played for a fool.

I love the after story to this. She later tried to sue the cops for violating her "civil rights" for Tasering her. The jury found the cops not guilty after exactly 7 minutes of deliberation. This woman did not give it as I see, and so has been kidnapped, assaulted and torched under without concent. to extort money through the courts. If her licence was suspended that means she is using her right to travel, under commonlaw not statue. If you don't know your rights keep paying your fines, rego and insurance. You still don't understand. A suspended license shouldn't be an arrestable offense. What she was suspended for. It may have been for something serious, but more than likely was for something stupid that there is a good chance she didn't even know about. And as far as getting out of the car, as many times as I've seen people get the shit kicked out them by cops when they've had a bad day. I don't like to get out of the car ether. shortened video. lady was told many times before that she had a suspended driver's license. she refused to get out of the car and called someone on her cell phone. i refuse to pay for this officer to stand around trying to counsel some dumb lady who shouldn't even be driving. there should be a whole video on youtube somewhere. by the way where i live a person with a suspended license cannot be covered by insurance=if this lady hit my car i'd have to cover the cost. that's not fair. biased video.

Even without seeing the full clip, I don't think the officer was in fear for his life...I don't think she pulled a weapon on him. A tazer is a less lethal means of defending himself from an attacker. It's not to be used at his whim. And again,this is a suspended license,not a bankrobber. They suspend you at the drop of a hat now. They want you to pay fines, but they don't care how you are going to get to work to do it.
