Funny story. I let my friend play this game today, and he'd never played DMC before. Of course, I let him play on a New Game +, so he had everything. He got to this boss, and he'd watched this walkthrough so he knew what was coming. He was worried he'd die horribly.

He damaged him pretty badly, and stunned him. I told him to use Devil Buster - 2:48 - on him, and Berial only lasted a total of about two minutes.

Granted, it was a New Game + on Human mode, but it was so hilariously quick.

Oh here's a tip. Switch the gun button to

R2 so that you can charge it while striking Berial or and other boss or enemies to kill them quickly. When you get the lvl 3 charge shot, it will be very useful!

A little tip for the Berial fight, when he turns red and sits down, first, jump, use the Devil Bringer, and then when you have slammed him, stay on the ground and punch him in the face with the Devil Bringer.

man you took forever to take him down. there is a fast way to beat him the secret is, when his fire is out and is on his knees, use your right arm to grab his head and smash his face to the ground. for max damage I did it in the demo, but is a bitch to perform though.
