that's because u didn't look at his lips immediatly, and hence the ba ba ba ba, and when u looked at the lips it became da da da. try it your self see if it confirms this explanation

No your ear and eyes both try to fix it so they mix ga(eye) and da(ear) together only to just get da for some reason. So if you close your eye it will only give the answer as da.

Closing your eyes you hear "ba ba", because that is what he is saying. The audio is dubbed over him is actually saying "ga ga". When you watch him say it, your brain goes haywire when the audio and visual messages are mixed and suddenly your brain think its "da da" because that's the only thing that makes sense to it.
