  • the dogs smell bacon.

  • i would of dive into a tent because thats fucked

  • There's one in every crowd. Just goes to show the irresponsibility of dumb ass people. Drugs and alcohol are a factor in death on our roads, but stupid, irresponsible people are the cause. Stay home and smoke your pot or drink your whiskey. I hope the APD keep up their good work with these kind events with 420 morons.

  • shut down by police this year on 420 in 2011. hippie losers haha.

  • @PMCWong1 Enjoy that police state fuckface.

  • @MikeGartner tell them losers at the park to clean up their fecal matter, or can just eat it.

  • @PMCWong1 Huh? Do you speaky engrish PMSWong?

  • @MikeGartner Your mama thinks so.

  • @MikeGartner your sister too.

  • cant wait for tomorrow!! HUMBOLDT BABY!!!!

  • Failed attempt to try to piss off stoners. GUESS WHAT!! Smoking pot doesn't make you violent like it says in the police text books!!

  • @supersickwidit There is no god, both bud and alcohol are from living organisms, so your argument is invalid. However, alcohol is a poison.

  • ive been there a lot. there is a large number of hippies there that drink way too much and cause trouble. they also dont control their dogs - thinking its funny when they chase mountain bikers. just what ive seen, not all of them are like this.

  • @marcjtdc,

If someone was making trouble on my property, I'd escort them off. But this gentleman doesn't look like he's causing any trouble. Just enjoying a beverage. Do you think these cops are serving and protecting us by stealing his property? From my perspective, the cops are the ones causing trouble in this particular situation.

  • @truthadvocate I was saying when some of them drink a LOT in this park and cause trouble and its not cool. Maybe some of them acting like asses like I've seen has pressured the cops to confiscate booze. They're not all peaceful hippies. I'm speaking mainly of the homeless.

Yes I do think these cops are serving and protecting by taking his booze.

  • @marcjtdc,

So would cops be serving and protecting if they walked into a restaurant with their weapons and took the beer out of your hand, because you might act poorly later? What is the difference between these situations other than geographic location?

  • @truthadvocate youre really asking me this? you think you can just walk down the street drinking a bottle of whisky? well, in some places you can like in key west you can take your drink from the restaurant to go and walk down the street, but in some places you will be cited for an open container in public. in some places you cant even drink in public view. it really boils down to the local governments laws.

  • @marcjtdc,

I know there are laws against drinking in public. But there are many laws that don't make any sense. Think about it. What is the difference between drinking in a park with other people of all ages, and drinking in a restaurant in an outdoor patio seating area with other people of all ages? What is the difference that justifies passing a law against one and not the other? The truth is many laws do not serve the general public. They serve special interest groups & the state.

  • @truthadvocate From what I have seen, i suspect the local government probably made an ordinance at some point to stop people from drinking in public because some of them were being trouble makers. I have seen many of them act like ass holes and they don't give a fuck if they are disturbing other people. If they want to act this way in a restaurant they will simply be kicked out, but in a park they act like asses, disturbing the peace, and what do you do then? So there is a big difference.

  • @marcjtdc,

Well, the restaurant policy sounds much more effective to me. It specifically punishes the trouble makers without punishing well behaved customers. If cops are walking around stealing booze from anyone they encounter, why couldn't those same cops just kick out the trouble makers and respect the well behaved customers instead?

  • @truthadvocate I think the idea is it increases peace to have a law like this in place since they cannot always be there to babysit people. Besides, if you're smart you will mix it before hand to not have a bottle in view, or you can put whiskey in an apple juice container, vodka in a water bottle ect, lol. hey man if you cant see the logic in the law that's your problem. I'm not going to voice my opinion or any more facts, peace out.

  • i know all that, but a lot of the pot army drinks too. don't make it an either or situation. some people are moderate and occaisional in their drinking and apart from driving this is not unbelievably bad for them. i admit that i am an exception because i like to drink a lot. i like pot a lot. but, for me, i can't smoke alone and enjoy it half as much.

  • i disagree with those putting down the use of alcohol. marijuana and alcohol go together great. so what if you like to drink too? for me, i have a tendency to get anxious if i smoke pot by itself whereas alcohol level's it out and makes it more useful to me. i know my drugs and this is how it goes down for me.

  • @pinkus44 yes.. but the difference between marijuana and alcohol is tremendous, health wise. Alcohol is unbelievably bad for you, and marijuana is pretty much good for you...

  • Cops at a 420 fuck up the vibe.

  • apparently being a high as balls isnt good enuff for you, you want to be drunk as hell aswell? silly little man.

  • Arrest him! He does'nt fit in.

  • Comment removed

  • WOW! That cop without the hat is so HOTT!!!!

  • really? is it the receding hair line that gets you?, or is it his pudge?

  • lol

  • ok i bet your a fucking faggot ...biggest bullshit ever and if u didnt know u can get lung cancer without smoking anything...smoking weed actualy decreases your chance of getting lung cancer, and im sure it reduced the pain of your friends problem so if anything im sure weed helped him

  • "Marijuana" (in itself) does not cause cancer like tobacco does. SMOKING marijuana can because of the carcinogens released from the burning process, but vaporizing or cooking eliminates that issue.

    And, sorry about your friend.

  • but steve, plenty of weed is grown organically. and will thrive with no human intervention at all. i dont see anything man made about it.

  • plenty of weed that you don't smoke. actually, I don't think there could be any strands of marijuana today that you could consider completely wild because even if it's growing freely in a field somewhere, that plant still had a history of human modification (agriculture) in the past.

  • I don't like it, but I'll have to agree with MediumSteve

  • this dude obviously knows nothing on cannabis origin...hemp grows wild and free all over north america...cannabis does the same almost ANYWHERE else..

  • @organicTREES420 For someone who loves cannabis so much, you sure have your facts twisted. Cannabis is native to South Asia, not America. It was introduced to America and even your so-called "wild" strands of cannabis were a product of human selection at one point in the past. I'm not arguing that cannabis is not a plant that can continue to propagate without human interference, but you also must realize that all of the cannabis you smoke today is the product of human-based agriculture.

  • Umm, re read please...I said HEMP Hemp grows all over canada and parts of the US without any help of human at all.

Canabis grows wild is south asia, and plenty other continents. It grows wild almost EVERYWHERE EXCEPT north america is what I said...The cannabis I smoke today is grown by me...And I can tell you this much....IT IS the most natural substance I take in my life. Just as natural as water is. More natural than half the foods I eat....

  • @organicTREES420 but is that cannabis you are growing the product of thousands of years of human cultivation? Yes, it is and that's the point I am making.

  • Umm, maybe 100 years at the most...We didnt know to much about it 100 years ago, other than the effects it produced. And yes, It grew wild and natural...Still does to this day.

Sure most strains today are bred by human, but this doesnt means its still not natural.

Does putting spring water in a glass make the water any less natural? No, just the way we consume it/produce it.

  • @organicTREES420 And this argument was originally about how brewing alcohol and consuming it is unnatural. I'd like to know what the difference really is. Fermentation is a natural process just like growing a plant is a natural process right? Where does the difference lie? If it's in the equipment it takes to brew and distill liquor then I still don't see the difference. I find it hard to believe that you haven't once smoked any bud grown indoors, with the use of lighting and nutrients.

  • loser fest? more like people that like to have a good time fest... you piece of shit.

  • that cop in the beanie is a faggot he busted me a couple timez haha arcata is the best place to live!!

  • dogs don't like pigs!

  • god made grass

    man made booze..

    who do you trust?

  • yeah because you're definitely smoking wild marijuana, not shit that's been cultivated by man for thousands of years. i'm pretty sure that headband you're smoking wasn't found out in a field somewhere and sold to you for $40 an eigth. weed has been influenced by man just as much as alcohol has.

  • Marijuana is grown, picked, dried, and it's ready to smoke. You don't walk over to a beer bush and pull a can off.

  • There is nothing natural about agriculture. Modern marijuana strains have gone through thousands (yes thousands) of years of human modification via agriculture. There's nothing natural about putting a seed in a pot, turning on a bunch of metal halide lights, and adding tons of unnatural supplementation in order to grow a plant. Give me a break. The process of growing marijuana is just as natural as the process of brewing beer. Dispute that.

  • "there is nothing natural about agriculture" - Not so, amigo. "Natives" used agriculture. Oh, humans are not "natural", then how about ants that farm fungus?

  • agriculture does not occur in the natural world. apparently you don't understand the logistics of this. something occurring "naturally" refers to phenomena in the absence of human interference. marijuana agriculture does not apply to this because it has been selectively harvested by humans for thousands of years. your point about ants farming fungus is void because the entire discussion is on marijuana agriculture. I need to find me some bomb ant grown bud, I bet that shit's the chronic.

  • humans plant seeds....those seeds came from nature....cannabis was here before humans....nature might not grow inside...but it does outside genious.

  • I think like u do. I make up my own mind about these things rather than to believe someone elses words that most likely is bullshit. becuz most of it is.

  • this wuz supposed to be an answer to:

  • How about tobacco? Tobacco is more harmful than marijuana, yet produced in much the same way. And it is legal to those over 18.

  • They're all harmful and they're all man-made. Don't get the argument twisted.

  • True.

I'm just curious why some are legal, and some aren't. And why the legal ones have different minimum ages.

  • Politics. I'm all for the complete decriminalization of marijuana.

  • Prop 215, baby! :D

  • yeah except marijuana

  • @supersickwidit Man.

  • @supersickwidit

WHOA WHOA WHOA, religion? come on man... if it comes down to religion or booze, booze for sure

  • @supersickwidit Actually god made booze too.

  • @cabo02 Yea, so fuck God it''s his fault.. :D

  • @ParadoxEarth dumb fuck

  • "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose." Party On!

  • Pity. The 420 celebration used to be a place where people came to escape The Fourth Reich. The Arcata Lie put an end to that. Arcata's now become a trap for anyone who wants to rebel against The Corporate State.

    "Freedom's just anot

  • I didn't go. I was going to.
