@RolandWieffering1 In the strip club, Ruby always MOUTHED OFF that he was in the mafia !! Of course on Several occasions‘, when Mafiosi, were in the club, they knew he was fulla shit, and they used that to “set him up” !! They told Ruby to find a Patsy, and then kill the Patsy before he could talk, and if Ruby pulled it off, then they would let him in the Mafia !! @CADIEUXGR OBVIOUSLY THIS TOTALLY PISSED OFF THE MAFIA, & SAM GIANCANA, OF CHICAGO sent his soldier (Johnny Roselli), to Dallas Texas, for the Kennedy Tour - Roselli was in a storm drain with a rifle, waiting for JFK’S car to come…!!! Oswald was “THE PATSY”, AND RUBY set up the whole deal, CUZ THE MAFIA F-D him over !! Ruby was a F - N nobody that owned a used car lot & a strip club, but had a BIG MOUTH !!
@CADIEUXGR The Mafia controlled all the unions, and told Joe Kennedy, that for $100 Mil., all the unions would all vote for Jack !! Joe Kennedy’s response to the press was: “What’s a $100 million dollars, if my son becomes the President ?” Obviously, the press did not know where the money went !! @CADIEUXGR The Kennedy & Marilyn Monroe deaths REMAIN “UNRESOLVED”, (F - N LOL !!), because it would have to come out that the GOV’T was in bed with the mafia, got Jack in office & he was fucking Monroe, thru his connections with the “Rat Pack”, OF WHICH THE WHOLE F - N WORLD KNOWS THAT SINATRA WAS “Connected” !! how can u be a thief and be honorable, the 2 things are incompatible. they just project a sense of honor because they are master liars, that way they don't draw attention to themselves and can steal and kill in peace.
@henrymj79 what the hell are you talkin about rap messed up what the italians never ran the brothers what fuck nyc up was gulliani he fucked it up for the blacks and the italians
Why, even after 25 yearsc we haven't heard ANY audio clips of Castellano or Gambino? Are the Feds going to try them by oija board? I want to hear those tapes. Hell We never even heard the tapes of Angelo Ruggerio that pissed Paul off in the first place. Freedom of Information my ass. You can't even hear dead mob guys talk. All we get are the same 5 snippets of Gotti. WTF??
WTF?!?!?!?!? They could market it and put the money towards victim funds or the national debt. So we can read files on the "war on terror" on wikileaks but Dellacroce is STILL off limits? Damn Feds. No wonder Gotti hated them so damn much.
@nickic272 the twins went down in the 60's, when gotti was a street punk and 3,000 miles away. why would he ever meet the twins? I hope your young and green because that is the only excuse for ever asking a dumb question like that. ANSWER: OF COURSE HE DIDNT...HE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF THEM AND NEITHER DID ANYONE ELSE IN THE MOB!!!!!!!
@Henrymj79 it was the jewish collaborative associates of the mob that invested in the music industry for the most part, the Italian's invested in illegal gambling in black communities and took them over, NYC was always a jungle, cant generalize shit so quickly "rap music messed it all up" you can't blame a genre for shit like that, its a fallacy of single causation, multiple reasons led to downfalls and power shifts
and Rap was originally a tool for those in poverty to express themselves
I will never understand how these guys ran their mouths even in their house.Feds can hear a fly fart halfway accross the world and these guys for some foolish reason thought they were safe and could say so many incriminating things at their know residence..I mean whats wrong with being like Carlo and never saying anything just a wink and nod was all he would give. And costellano was close to carlo you think he would have learned something from him. Like shut the fuck up.
With the decline of the organized gentleman. The F.B.I.has allowed America to become saddled with street gangs. Street gangs are very un-organized,druggies, nonthing more than locale terrorists. Who have no business savvy, political pull or organizational skills. My respect was with the rulers,,who didnt shoot people because they wore Red,Black,Blue, yellow,Green.
I hear you but lets not act like these guys were so honorable they were dirty street thugs who killed at will and on any hwhim they had they desroyed lives and neighborhoods period end of story
come onnow buddy I agree that as a country we are better off with organized american criminal organizations because now we have many street gangs with no respect and even worse we have allowed the foriegn criminal and terrorist organizations to run amuck and destroy our country with no retribution..I mean come on the cia and FBI dont have the manpower or street savy to get the knowledge that any mafia organization could have just by being who they are and keeping their ear to the tracks.
@Basinstreetfollies Small, disorganized gangs are less dangerous than large networks.
And mafiosi are rarely gentlemen. The Don Corleone type is the stuff of movies (though I hear Bonanno could pull that act when needed). These are guys from the streets, and were usually ill-mannered and casually dressed. Castellano was even disliked by some of his underlings because he spent too much time in his mansion, too distant from the street.
It seems like narcotics and greed was the primary downfall of the Italian Mafia in the United States. Once the "code of silence" was broken, honor left the Mob and it never quite recovered...
I think the Mafia's downfall was generational. The old school mobsters grew up in extreme poverty. They knew what rock bottom, to have nothing was. A lot of the later mobsters grew up in nice neighborhoods, some spoiled rich. They were a lot "softer". Prison scared them, so they'd rat easier. The old school ones didn't fear prison.
@Abasuto i agree with ya. but when the gov. changed the laws and started the rico law mobsters instead of getting 5 years started getting 25 years just for being associated. like they are trying to do street gangs now. just for wearing the colors of a street gang and tatoos they are getting time in prison and felonies on their records. godbless.
@randy109 no, the downfall is people yapping. people that are greedy, dont want to get stopped. so they becareful so thats wrong, drugs is a big buisness, u only hear about the mob drugs when one rats, (goodfellas) really theres more drug dealing mafia people getting away and doing it right. i respect your cliche statement. but downfalls of the mob? drugs? greed? what the fuck do you think a mob was made for, money and good times. so brush up on your history. -Anthony Tinado
@randy109 Yes, that is why all of those gangs of colored guys can never get their gang off the ground... they are all hopped up on silly dust.... you know the dope.
This doc, is a little misleading Gambino gave Neil D. the Manhattan rackets not Big Paul and the reason Carlo gave the family to Paul was his hope in making the family as legit as possible therefore no fed. interference, and Neil D. had the muscle end but not the power.....but, if you live in the gangster world muscle trumps everything!
big paul was his brother in law to. by the time he was shot he had all the families mad at him because he was caught on tapes talking about all the other boss.s and he was giving more away instead of bringing in for the family fortune. that was on some documentory. god bless
yep that is all true and I think it is even more ironic that Gotti was so angry that gambino gave the family to his bro. in law (big Paul who didn't deserve it) but when gotti went to prison he did the same thing and gave the family to his son (John Jr who didn't deserve it)
The thing is, even if Paul had named Neil as his successor, Gotti would probably still have taken over eventually, as he was so close to Neil. So the result would have been the same. You know there is a problem when a hijacker from Queens is in a postion to take over the entire organization.
I don't agree...what Gotti did by taking out Castellano was create the mindset that if he could do that to Paul than he could do it to anyone; subsequently, anyone could have taken Gotti out too at some point...if Neil was named successor, Gotti would have been just as happy and maybe Gotti could have learned a little more from Neil as time went on and not been so public with things later if he became boss after Neil. Gambino made one mistake; that was naming Castellano boss...period
Why do they make out like there mosters lol i bet it was a right laugh in there clubs or caffes but when some one trys to fuck with what can you expect them to do?Any ways these mosters have given us the best modern entertainment ever i think the taliban is in this century lol!!
Angelo Rugiero was a hard headed type of bastard who didn't wanna listen and almost got Gotti killed over that dope beef he knew the consequences but acted like he didn't give a damn !
Heh, heh...Billy Joel wrote a song about Neil D....it's called "Big Man on Mulberry Street"...serious, its about Dellacroce, before anyone even knew who the hell John Gotti was...
the mob is weak now ..us dominicans run shit now

With the decline of the organized gentleman. The F.B.I.has allowed America to become saddled with street gangs. Street gangs are very un-organized,druggies, nonthing more than locale terrorists. Who have no business savvy, political pull or organizational skills. My respect was with the rulers,,who didnt shoot people because they wore Red,Black,Blue, yellow,Green.
Basinstreetfollies 2 years ago 8
I hear you but lets not act like these guys were so honorable they were dirty street thugs who killed at will and on any hwhim they had they desroyed lives and neighborhoods period end of story
xdevelopingminds1by1 2 years ago 5
come onnow buddy I agree that as a country we are better off with organized american criminal organizations because now we have many street gangs with no respect and even worse we have allowed the foriegn criminal and terrorist organizations to run amuck and destroy our country with no retribution..I mean come on the cia and FBI dont have the manpower or street savy to get the knowledge that any mafia organization could have just by being who they are and keeping their ear to the tracks.
stankupdaplace 2 years ago
@stankupdaplace dont' forget that most of those terrorist organizations where thrained and funded by the CIA
rekTHEirrational 2 years ago

Abasuto 8 months ago
@Abasuto they had a tad more control over federal prisons back then too.
DREwestcoast 8 months ago
@Abasuto i agree with ya. but when the gov. changed the laws and started the rico law mobsters instead of getting 5 years started getting 25 years just for being associated. like they are trying to do street gangs now. just for wearing the colors of a street gang and tatoos they are getting time in prison and felonies on their records. godbless.
39tommyboy 7 months ago
@randy109 no, the downfall is people yapping. people that are greedy, dont want to get stopped. so they becareful so thats wrong, drugs is a big buisness, u only hear about the mob drugs when one rats, (goodfellas) really theres more drug dealing mafia people getting away and doing it right. i respect your cliche statement. but downfalls of the mob? drugs? greed? what the fuck do you think a mob was made for, money and good times. so brush up on your history. -Anthony Tinado

987steel 2 years ago 10
big paul was his brother in law to. by the time he was shot he had all the families mad at him because he was caught on tapes talking about all the other boss.s and he was giving more away instead of bringing in for the family fortune. that was on some documentory. god bless
39tommyboy 2 years ago 3
yep that is all true and I think it is even more ironic that Gotti was so angry that gambino gave the family to his bro. in law (big Paul who didn't deserve it) but when gotti went to prison he did the same thing and gave the family to his son (John Jr who didn't deserve it)
987steel 2 years ago 7
carlo married his cousin......wow
dyngga 2 years ago 8
It seems as if the biggest (and maybe the only) mistake that Carlo Gambino ever made was naming "Big Paul" his successor.....
pterzi74 2 years ago 6
Agree, it was one of the few times he made a decision that wasn't based on business.
TrackRunnaBeatBoi 2 years ago 5
The thing is, even if Paul had named Neil as his successor, Gotti would probably still have taken over eventually, as he was so close to Neil. So the result would have been the same. You know there is a problem when a hijacker from Queens is in a postion to take over the entire organization.
jareds2009 2 years ago 5
I don't agree...what Gotti did by taking out Castellano was create the mindset that if he could do that to Paul than he could do it to anyone; subsequently, anyone could have taken Gotti out too at some point...if Neil was named successor, Gotti would have been just as happy and maybe Gotti could have learned a little more from Neil as time went on and not been so public with things later if he became boss after Neil. Gambino made one mistake; that was naming Castellano boss...period
pterzi74 2 years ago 5
Castellano was scared of Dellacroce
